Paynesville Holiday Park

Had to drive to Bairnsdale for a funeral, so decided to stay overnight in Paynesville. The holiday park was lovely, well maintained. The cabins were surprisingly well laid out, we stayed in a 3br villa that could sleep 8. I travelled with my elderly parents, hence why I booked a villa. The cabin was clean & cosy. The two main bedrooms each contained a Queen sized bed while the 3rd bedroom had 2 bunkbeds that slept 4. It was the little touches that made the stay so great. The Queen sized beds were perfectly made with a hotel styled runner, with a matching cushion & 4 good plump pillows. Towels were left on the end of the bed, & not just any old towels either, they were white bath sheets. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I would recommend Paynesville Holiday Park to anyone looking for a getaway. The town of Paynesville was not far away, & the view from any of the restaurants showed the lake & Raymond Island was lovely, & in summertime, this would be a definite attraction. I will certainly stay at Paynesvill holiday park again. Thank you for the small touches that made the stay feel more luxurious.

Great spot, lovely people, decent rooms and accessories. These days the price they charge is reasonable.

Nice small park in town centre, which is just a general store/fuel/post office and a pub, which is terrific, great food, but nicely situated just above the snowy River, you can walk up to the mouth along the sand at low tide and also there is a paved walk, friendly staff, nice spot

There is so much to love about this park... the staff are lovely, the amenities are the cleanest out of all the parks we have been to, the camp sites are a great size and grassy, its safe for the kids to run and ride bikes around and its an easy walk into town. We love it so much we keep coming back.

Whilst we only stayed one night we had everything we needed. Super clean and tidy site, obviously cared for with pride. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

Loved staying within the holiday village, fantastic couple running the park, lovely set up for caravans, all concrete drives and sites. Easy stroll to the town and fair pricing.

Spent a week here with my 3 kids and hubby.We had a fantastic time. The park is well maintained, the staff are awesome and the atmosphere is fantastic and friendly.The kids were in the pool every day loving life, and I loved the heated spa lol.Will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our stay at Paynesville Holiday Park. We booked into an ensuite caravan spot for our pop top van. The owners were super accommodating with our site allocation (helping our family stay in an area with other young families) , helped us with an earlier check in and were so friendly upon arrival. The park itself was one of the best kept & cleanest caravan parks I have been to. 5 min walk into town/coffee/water. Cannot beat it - we will be back for sure.

Have stayed at this place before and liked it back then (2019) It hasn't changed.Our group of 4 stayed in the deluxe villa which can accommodate 8 comfortably.This cabin was well kept and well equipped with quality fridge, TV and crockery/ cutlery.Bedrooms are small. Beds were clean. The lounge/ dining area is ample.There is a pool within the park. It may be more appealing in the summer.Friendly folk run the place.A super convenient location, if you want to enjoy all that Paynesville has to offer this is a great place to drop anchor.
