My hairdresser told me that every business in the Mentone shopping Centre was requested by a representative of the obese extreme right wing politician Clive Palmer to put a yellow UAP message board in the shop window. She refused saying that she would probably lose all of her current clients if she did so. Similar requests at the Seaview shopping Centre in Balcombe Rd led to zero takers. For a while this business turned its yellow sign to the wall but it is again facing outwards. I have no issue with the right of this business to do so but it has ensured it will never have my business or no doubt that of anyone else who can see through Clive Palmer and is concerned about real action being taken on climate change and the introduction of an effective corruption commission as well as addressing the crisis in aged care.

I was thinking of paying a visit to this business until I saw the yellow United Australia Party sign. I respect the right of freedom of political expression but can’t support a business that canvasses votes for a party led by a person who spreads disinformation on covid and who is attractive to the far right nut job and vote usually occupied by the Hansonites.
