Marina Cove
Marina Cove was given its name over 100 years ago by Joseph Harris a Mornington pioneer. His home Marina" still stands nearby on the Esplanade. He owned almost all of the land along the foreshore Esplanade area between Strachans Rd & Bentons Rd. There's a small monument to him at the Strachans Rd - Esplanade intersection.In recent years this cove has been incorrectly called Coral Cove due to it being near Coral Rd. Joseph Harris Scout Camp in Mt Martha used to be owned by him also."
