My experience with Hurstville Chinese Restaurant's takeaway service was extremely disappointing. I had ordered the Deep Fried Spare Ribs with Salt & Pepper, but instead, I was given Salt and Pepper Squid. (Along with other items, total $230)It was frustrating to receive the wrong dish, especially since it wasn't even a substitute for the one I had ordered. Worth a mention is also the unseasoned food, spring rolls are bland, the plum sauce was the only good taste, Mongolian beef had flavour and the pipi’s had more of an ocean flavour than I personally could palate. Additionally, the meal was still very expensive, which only added to my disappointment.Unfortunately, Hurstville Chinese Restaurant failed to meet basic expectations. It's clear that they have serious issues with accuracy and customer service, and I wouldn't recommend their takeaway service to anyone.Overall, my experience with Hurstville Chinese Restaurant was a letdown, and I would advise other customers to look for other options in the area. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer better quality food and service, and that take their customers' orders seriously.

There's a reason this restaurant has survived & thrived in the competitive Hurstville landscape. The staff are friendly & service is great. With the food being as great as ever.Hope to have many celebratory dinners here again.

Fantastic experience, came for lunch when they were a bit quieter and service was top notch. Food is great and came out very quickly. Will come back again.

Staff were really friendly, attentive, food was delicious, prices were very reasonable comparatively (mud crab $46 per/500g), place was packed. A really great night.

Chinese Restaurant HurstvilleThe green veggies with no meat at all for $28.80 were tasteless and very disappointing. The sweet and sour pork was so soggy and felt like it was weeks old and re cook multiple times and was disgusting. The honey prawns would have been nice if you put the honey on the side instead we hard soggy battered prawns that aren’t that nice.Lastly we had special fried frice, one of the most basic Chinese dishes and for the fourth time now has been very disappointing, I’ve been to many Asian countries and even my own home town of Toukley on the Central Coast and the special fried rice runs rings around the these restaurants here in HurstvilleAnd for $120 for 4 dishes including one with only veggies and another with rice, the other two. One prawn and one pork, biggest rip off of Chinese food I’ve ever had, we won’t be back.

Previously I enjoyed the food here as they are mild and tasted fresh. However recently we bought takeaway, it was disappointing. There’s a rubber band and sand & mud in vegetable, they didn’t wash the vegetable at all. The noodles tasted like plastic. There’re sands in clams as well. Congee is watery without any texture. The fish was the only dish we still can eat, but too much chilli. I wonder if they changed Managment recently!

I love this wonderful restaurant. The beef is juicy, seafood fried rice taste special and nice. I don't like fried e noole with mushroom, because it's really plain.Dish is tooo much for me and dad, at least 4 people can finish the meal we ordered today. But I still recomend this restaurant.
