Myself and friends had a wonderful weekend stay at Cavalea homestead. It was beautifully renovated, and yet with old style furniture, and modern day mod cons for pleasure and convenience. There were magnificent country farm views from all around the house, for our enjoyment, entertainment and relaxation. Beautiful horses also could be seen in nearby paddocks.Our host was extremely welcoming and accommodating to all our needs and questions. I couldn't more highly recommend Cavalea homestead for future retreats and getaways.

Thank you Amelia for providing a pristinely clean home away from home with all the amenities, including excellent WiFi connection and piping hot water 24/7, and for patiently satisfying our curiosity about the history of the homestead and everything to do with horses. Regardless of season or weather this is the kind of place to get together with family or friends to chill out and enjoy some quality time in perfectly quiet and tranquil surroundings. There is even a verandah going round the property to sit outside and relax, watching the horses grazing and feeling the fresh air breeze rustling through the trees. Will definitely consider going there again and highly recommend it any time of the year.

Our long-awaited girls’ weekend was worth the wait. We all had a wonderful time staying at Cavallo Acres Homestead. Our host, Amelia, is very supportive even with the various re-scheduling due to Covid lockdowns. She ensured that we all have a great time, keeping the house cool ready for our arrival. Even her beloved dog, Bob, is very welcoming.The accommodation is fitted with all the modern conveniences yet it offered that warm country feeling all throughout. The house was surrounded by running tracks and field for the horses. Seeing and patting the horses was a bonus.I highly recommend this place for families and/or group of friends seeking a nice accommodation short drive from Melbourne and only 5 minutes away from Kyneton popular Piper Street.I give this 5 out of 5 rating.
