They were good when the current owners first took over now they don't seem to care as their standards seem to have slipped and with a huge number of staff turnover the good cooks are gone.. I don't know what brand of dim sims they use, they are just awful. I would have given them a 5 stars a few years ago, that's how good they were, not anymore.

It's kinda hit and miss here.. at times its been really tasty the chips perfectly cooked and the fish tastes fresh n portions are good. Yet other times the chips are underdone n hard and it all just doesn't taste right... like the oil may be not so fresh? Overall it's worth giving a go.. the burgers are usually pretty good but if you get the chicken burger make sure you ask that they put both peices of the chicken fillet, and not cut it in half and just use one of the peices.

The grease and smell of the potato cakes and fish are disgusting.The place smells and needs a good clean but then again it's Doveton, I shouldn't expect anything less .
