Heritage Trail Lodge, Margaret River

From the moment we arrived we were impressed. We were greeted by Terry who was very helpful and friendly. The outdoor areas are stunning with lush green gardens and tropical water features. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable! The balcony overlooks the forest which is full of wildflowers at the moment so made for a beautiful place to relax with a drink. The location is really good being only 5 min walk into town and the brewery next door was perfect for dinner and drinks with no driving back to accommodation. We highly recommend Heritage Trail Lodge and look forward to our next visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights while in the Margaret River region and it was well worth it! The staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean, spacious and inviting, the atmosphere was very relaxing, breakfast was delicious, and I just loved how the cabins overlooked the bushland. We even had parrots come and visit us on multiple occasions!The accommodation is also very close to the Margaret River town centre (10-15 min walk), which made finding food and entertainment options very convenient. Though the destination seemed more like a couples retreat, we came as a group of 6 (in separate queen rooms) and it was perfect!

We had an amazing 4 night stay in a spa room. We cannot fault any part of our stay, it was the highlight of our getaway. The room was spacious, clean, had a forest view, comfortable king size bed with a spa almost as big as the bed perfect for couples. Terry was welcoming, friendly and a daily breakfast with local produce was a must every morning. It is walking distance to central Margs which was perfect for us. Highly recommend and will return in the future.

The most beautiful retreat type accommodation - felt secluded but only short distance from town centre. Our hosts were superb, so helpful & friendly. We wished we could stay longer. Highly recommend it.

Stayed overnight and found the lodge to be very comfortable, rooms were clean and tidy, facilities were excellent, ( loved tge Spa), just a 10 min walk to town, the bush setting was relaxing and peaceful with walking trails and the Brewery next door to go for a meal.The only criticism I have is the room decor is just a bit ordinary, a few decorations, ie ornaments etc would have been a nice touch and there's a nice balcony that overlooks the bush, unfortunately there are times when you can't use it, when it's bucketing down with raIn like it was when we were there or when it's stinking hot, without any type of roof there's no protection from the weather, other than that we had a pleasant stay, the continental breakfast was great.I would recommend the Heritage Trail lodge to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Margaret River

Excellent room, the gardens are magnificent, the property is surrounded by nature but a stone throw from town. The heritage trail is a nice walk to start the day, breakfast was good.All in all a very pleasant stay.

Great place to stay in Margaret River. Lovely big rooms with the most comfy bed I’ve slept on (took a sneak peek at the mattress label, it was that good). Super spacious bathroom with massive spa bath. Everything spotlessly clean. Easy parking and right next door to the Brewhouse so we could have a drink or 2 then walk back to our room. Only a 300m walk into the town itself. Highly recommended.

Everything is amazing!! Rooms are just beautiful. 10 out of 10!! Couldnt fault anything. You must come wont be disappointed!!!

Great small (12 cottages) place. Excellent customer service and general advice. Reasonably priced. Had small/continental breakfast included in price.
