Had breakfast here. Food was really good, freshly cooked and hot. Service was good and staff extremely friendly, would recommend a visit.

I love it here, the tables are always quickly cleaned. The prices are way too good, and the steak i usually get is cooked properly. This is now my favourite place to eat

I had lunch here once and thought it was okay, so I decided to bring my mum here for lunch. When I asked which steak we should order (the tbone or the sirloin, because we wanted the softer/ less chewy option), the lady who took the order seemed annoyed and said it depended on us, which didn’t help. We quickly ordered both steaks, the seafood basket and the chicken corn soup, just to try.The seafood basket was overcooked, there was no sauce either. There were a few pieces of frozen seafood which were tasteless. The steaks were similar, plus very chewy. The chicken corn soup was the only thing I thought was okay, but then when we asked for another bowl to share, they gave us a dirty deep plate with tiny pieces of food on it. I asked to change to another one, and the lady brought another deep plate with dirty oily marks on it. I showed it to her and she said, “it looks okay”. I had to clean the plate again with tissue, but it was hard to enjoy the food anymore when you know the plate was dirty.I wont come back.

A great and friendly cafe. It’s so great having a place to meet people in the evening that isn’t just a bar. Good coffee good prices and really friendly owners

The real negative is the loo. It's out the back so you get wet if it's raining. The worst thing is there's nowhere to wash your hands!!Otherwise it's a good little cafe for people watching while eating their very nice all day breakfast. Staff and regulars are always friendly.

I eat there twice a day. I'm employed, and not just sitting there on drug's. They might not always be polite to everyone. But they put up with a lot very average behavior there at time's.A ton of choices. And a bacon & egg roll (make sure you ask for runny eggs) for $6 is a winner every time.Snitzel with chips, vegetables, and gravy, could nearly feed 2 people for $12.A great place to hang, if you can deal with the constant bursts of mini madness that is never far away. And lastly. You don't feel like you need to hurry up and get out of the place once you have finished up with your food and drinks.

What makes this place are the hard working and lovely staff. The lady who is there I think every day is so sweet and nice. Even when I’m having a bad or sad day she always cheers me up and makes me feel better with her friendly and welcoming attitude and energy. This is probably the cheapest place to eat in the while city and eastern suburbs. The food is good quality and fresh. It’s basic food. Think old school country town cafe pub rsl.Don’t expect fancy for cheap prices. Some people have unfairly given poor reviews not taking into account the prices. You don’t expect a $50 steak quality at a place that charges $10.That being said… the bacon and egg roll is great! They do fresh juices. The fresh orange juice is delicious. I haven’t tried but old coworkers told me the steak and schnitzels are decent. I used to order veggies and things not on the menu and they always accommodated me and everything fresh and tasty and cooked properly. The place gets a lot of kings cross characters and the staff treat everyone so nice. It’s in a very sketchy part of the strip.
