Really cute place with great vibes for a lazy Sunday. The staff were amazing and lovely. Would recommend the Apple strudel and cheese kransky. They also sell manner wien waffles. Yum!

Visiting The Mill complex is an essential part of any trip to Castlemaine. The restaurant is busy and popular. Featuring an indoor and an outdoor seating area, it has an excellent atmosphere.Besides Austrian/German dishes, they also serve a very good selection of coffees. An efficient and friendly wait staff.

What a great place to meet freinds for a get together. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. A restaurant like this attracts people to central Victoria.Loved the outdoor seating and the place was buzzing with people. When your done have a look at the local art galleries near bu or walk through the botanical garden.

Very nice cafe, I’m not hungry at all, so only order one drink (also not a coffee people).Will visit again next time and try the alcohol hot chocolate which seems very delicious.

Beautiful spot with a relaxed laid back style. The coffees were great and the cakes were out of the world. I would highly recommend the goulash with kaiser rolls. Great kid friendly place where pets are welcome at the outdoor sitting.

Very different vibes than what you usually get around the area in a good way. I tried the cheese kransky and it was delicious and very filling. The coffee and juices were delightful. Fair warning, lots of flies in the outdoor area during summer.

Great coffee in an amazing setting.A popular place among locals and visitors to Castlemaine.The coffees were very good, and the desserts we sampled were also noteworthy.Authentic Austrian apple strudel and cakes are something not to be missed.Be prepared to wait for seating during busy periods.

Was recommended to come here during our trip to Castlemaine & we were thoroughly pleased!The food was amazing! The goulash is a must try & the Spätzle was yum! I had never tried Spätzle before but now it's a must order!The customer service was A+ especially for how busy it was!!Definitely a good spot if you're looking for a comfy space!

What a wonderful cafe. The service was impeccable, warm, friendly, attentive. The best service I’ve received in Australia in a long time. The food and coffee was delicious. Highly recommend. The mill centre as a whole is a lovely area.

We had some coffees and dessert. Coffee was lovely. Great spot for a day out and hang. Outdoor seatings are dog friendly too. Have to come back and try their food next time.
