Absolutely disgusted with the rudeness from a couple older women of staff towards a customer. A Lady had bought maybe 20+ dinner plates and had requested for them to be wrapped. She was then bullied by staff and outright embarrassed Infront of other customers. Was met with passive agressive comments such as 'we don't have time for this can the customer not just do it??', 'why can't you get a trolley and do it in your car', 'we have a line of people (3) waiting we don't have time to wrap. Do it yourself' just to name a few as well as making snide comments to co-workers. Now I'm understanding of being behind or holding a line but 3 people were waiting, not 50. Staff should have had more than 1 worker on check out originally and been prepared instead of harassing a customer who was well within their right to ask for wrapping on her plates. Staff are in no place to judge someone. You don't know what her dexterity was like or if she was weaker. And even if it was just her wanting wrapping it for no reason, that's her right. Shame on you women for being so rude. And I won't even start on the attitude of the staff who served me. I'm normally fine with short and blunt attitude, its retail, I get it noone likes it. But come on. Your old enough to know better attitude. Do better.

I was looking for pencil pleat curtains and venetian blinds last week. ALICIA, at the service desk was super helpful in advice and selection, saving me a substantial amount of time. I would love to give her SIX stars, however, need to take off 2 stars for how Spotlight marks promotions for in-store display.TWICE, I picked up boldly marked special prices, only to discover after checking out that the special started next day. It is very easy for an *unsuspecting* customer to only find out at home or not at all. Even though the start date for special is marked, a customer will commonly believe that the displayed price is available at the time of display. NOT sure if it will tick the legal boxes.

4 attempts to get 'Service' from 4 (!) on-floor staff who were all too busy, chatting...to each other!! Then one excellent employee in Fabrics was of great assistance, thank goodness, or I'd still be there 3 days later. Store has excellent products and variety so a great shame that such poor service by staff. Disinterested, vague, point to another section, don't seem to care about the customer who in essence, 'pays' their wages.

There were only 2 of us in the store when i visited so you cant say they were snowed under. I asked for assistance which took 30 min for a staff member to help me. When i pointed out i was waiting 30 min for help she replied with alot of staff are away sick today" to which i replied what has that got to do with you taking 30 min to come out of your office to help me. She turned her nose at me and gave me attitude pretending not to kniw what i was looking for. I then became firm with her and told her to loose the attitude or id report her to her bosses..That seemed to work

Place itself is great. I was picking up some roller blinds, I would have preferred to have them delivered, cost was over $200 and delivery was also over $200. Said because heavy bulky item. I was able to carry very easily. Fail to see how that delivery charge is justified.

Understaffed, not knowledgeable. Went to the Made to Measure counter and was told I don't know a heaps about it". Just quite frustrating to hear how unprofessional they are."

Good quality made to measure curtains.The installation process is why I'm giving 1 star. It took 8+ months for the curtains to be made, had to ring multiple people in Spotlight who all said different things and wouldn't give updates on the process. The first time someone came out for installation the measurements were wrong so they put up a tracking without the curtains. Left a hole in the wall too. The second time months later a different installer came and then suggested that the curtain would cover the whole wall?? We had to insist it was just for the window, he didn't seem to have read our consultant's notes. He also said that the measurements were wrong again. In the end they were put up but in one bedroom the tracks are wonky. Will get a different company to fix it as I have no trust in Spotlight's customer service or the installers. Got a few hundred dollars off the price however if i could go back and choose differently I would.

Really Poor customer service!! I ask one of the assistant to help me finding ribbons that I couldn’t find on the shelf. The assistant was chatting with another assistant and did not want to service me at all! I told her that i can see there’s stock online exactly in store. But She said “that’s what we got on the shelf” …… She even did not move one step… And i ordered online and chose pick up in store myself. See? They had stock! I called them ask why she told me no stock, the assistant let me wait for a long time and just hanged up the phone. Really rude!
