The Hairy Marron - Mountain Bike Cafe

A great place to hire some bikes for the bike trails around Margaret River. We were helped by Kye, whose service was excellent and he gave us good directions and tips for a ride to a few wineries. The bikes were clean and in very good condition and Kye ensured they were a good fit. Highly recommend this place for bike hire - the coffees we had before the ride were great too!

Great meeting place for mountain bikers who have a coffee and food before or after riding the trails. Coffee was excellent. Great range of bikes if you're in the market fir a new or second hand one.If little kids with you the local bird life will keep them occupied.

Awesome bike shop set in a lovely leafy location next to the River. Such friendly service when we (family of 4) went in to hire bikes. We got fitted up (including helmets) with such ease and then the guys clearly love to take the time to talk you through the many great trail recommendations to suit your wishes. Perfect...and the trails and scenery were awesome! Great to get such genuine and friendly customer service from guys who seem passionate about what they do. Decent hire price too for 4 hours hire. Thoroughly recommend if you are thinking of riding the trails...and if you aren't ..then do!!

Kai- you are a wealth of knowledge, you had patience with me (even though you were soon closing on Saturday 12 May '23)- you got me to check how my cycle helmet felt in comfort , fit and nothing was too much trouble! No hard 'upsell', just decent service. Kai is an excellent example of someone who is polite, professional and genuinely interested in the customer! ps.. I love their coffee, food and atmosphere :)

If you want to have the best bike service, the best personal facilities, the best genuine customer service and to have all the info you need to have a fun day trail biking in Margs, come here. One of the best things to do before you die is hire a good mountain bike and ride the trail along the Margaret River to 10 Mile Dam thought beautiful bushland. Hospitable staff provide helmets, maps, water and good directions.

If you’re even just considering going mountain biking whilst in Margaret River, we highly recommend just doing it and just doing it with Hairy Marron. You won’t be disappointed.Hired bikes were excellent condition and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, as well as flexible. They even have a great cafe for caffeine beforehand and cake afterwards.The trails are close by and offer a comprehensive range for all abilities. We are a family with teenage kids and modest mountain biking experience, and had a brilliant time trying out trails of different types and difficulty levels.

We got recommended this place by word of mouth after my son crashed his bike. Roman and his crew did an incredible job to get us going again with speedy repairs on a very busy long weekend. Friendly, efficient and professional service with a smile and very reasonable prices. Awesome place and awesome people.
