Attended a consultation with Dr Iain Stewart over a minor problem. He spent an hour lecturing me about my social skills and charged me for a long consultation. The whole experience was bizarre as it had nothing to do with my reason for going. I've since changed to a different GP who was actually interested in helping.

NLP training of weeks duration is, in my opinion, totally inadequate for a General Practitioner to treat patients suffering ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) from a mind perspective. ME/CFS is a physiological illness with biochemical anomalies, including an abnormal physiological response to exercise, as shown by reputable international evidence-based science, affecting many systems of the body.'Chronic fatigue' is however quite different, being a symptom of many diseases.NLP was recommended, very strongly, for an ME patient during a time attending any surgery was absolutely beyond their physical capacity (bed bound), without suitable understanding of this predicament being recognised.ME has been recognised by WHO as a neurological disease since 1969. WHO's ICD-10 classification lists ME/CFS and post-viral syndrome (PVFS) as the same neurological disease". Hopefully
