Abode Malua Bay

Perfect location for a break from city life. It was relaxing, spacious room with a beautiful beach to wonder along in the sun. The staff were all very pleasant and very friendly.

Stayed for two nights in May -Pros: Excellent location across the road from the beach with a takeaway and a few other shops next door. Staff were nice and plenty of onsite parking. Huge room that was generally clean. Great view of the beach. Love that this is pet friendly - although it comes at a cost of $50 extra per night. You get a toy for the dog on check-in, but for the additional $100 I would have thought water/food bowls would be available.Cons: The room was huge, but no table and chairs and the bed butted up against the kitchen bench. There were a few big stains on the carpet and the couch was marked. The bathroom is quite large, but the shower is tiny with no door so water goes all over the floor and soaked the mat. The bed was uncomfortable - sort of dipped in the middle. Also very noisy. The first night (a Saturday) we got very little sleep - slamming doors, voices in the hall, street noise and the people in the next room - there was adjoining door and we could hear everything. Not a restful experience.Cost was $496 plus $100 for the dog, plus $7 CC.

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Everything about my stay was perfect. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The staff was friendly and always available to help with any questions or concerns. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I give it 100% and can't wait to return!

Toilet had urine down the front of it Room needed vacuum.Room had 2 towels, no face washers, hand towels or tea towels.Reception staff fantastic.House keeping couldn't care less.Hotel location fantastic.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. This is a fantastic hotel and well worth the money. It has a supermarket & bottle shop next door and an excellent Chinese restaurant downstairs (also very close to the Bay & Mogo). The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are huge and well appointed, with super comfortable beds, and the view is exceptional. Definitely one of the best I've ever stayed in.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Awesome location, huge rooms, and really comfortable beds. There are lots of extras like pod coffee and complimentary bottled water. Can be a bit noisy with dogs barking as the hotel allows pets. The door between the rooms that allow them to be interconnecting are also a source of noise. There is also an issue with the design of the shower, which causes the floor to become soaking wet. Intend to come back soon and bring the family.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It was such a pleasant surprise to be able to stay with our dog in an ocean front hotel which offered great value for money and a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Nice large room with a fabulous view. Very good and secure parking. Kitchen facilities adequate, however laundry appliances do not fit or sit level in the bathroom. Very strange indeed.

Second time visit. Needed a family apartment, instead of ocean view. Quiet and comfortable. Extremely clean and nice to get bottled complimentary water. Enjoyed my early morning cup of coffee. Friendly reception desk and they even have a side table with extra provisions if you run out. Easy to park and leave. Reasonably priced too.

The staff was very friendly, although we had to wait a little bit to check in but apart from the overall experience was fantastic and the service was remarkable. Not too far away from the sceneries, beaches and wildlife parks.
