Absolute rubbish Went to buy Sugar cane got told to ho here went there got told to ho there went there and paided for mulch told mulch would come up After ten minutes went back then got told had to ho to loading dock Then got told no go there gad to ho front of shop to pick it up Not Happy Jan

I come here almost every weekend and the service is always outstanding. I love the outdoor gardening area. Great plants that haven't gone to plant heaven.If I have to ask the stupid questions about which screws to get for what, whoever has helped me has been courteous and helpful each time (not patronising like at other places). Love it.Also, the loyalty card is THE BEST LOYALTY CARD IN THE WORLD. You don't have to achieve a phenomenal amount of points in order to use them.......check-out person: You've got $13.62 worth of points. Do you want to take that amount off today's total?" Me: "yes please" !!! So easy.I'm OK with the range of stock. It's enough to suit my needs. Sometimes too much choice is overwhelming.Keep up the good work!"

Staff are so rude and condescending. It’s our closest hardware store but I think I am going to drive the extra 20 min to Bunnings in future. If you can avoid the unfriendly and rude staff, then it is not too bad.

Everything is overpriced, even items listed for sale on the mitre10 website are more expensive in store. I purchased frost cloth, advertised at $13.50 on website, however they charged $14.75 and would not price match. Its not the few cents I’m annoyed about its the principle, the price is advertised! I have also experienced similar with other purchases on two occasions in the past with mulch and smoke alarms. Moving forward I will drive the extra 20mins to Bunnings or buy online elsewhere.

Rude and passive aggressive staff. Went in to enquiry about serious purchase of equipment worth $1.5k . Wait for some time before being able to talk to sales staff. When I asked some straightforward questions about the products on display was met with passive aggressive manner when it was clear I knew more about the product than the staff member. Wanted to support local business but I will be taking my business elsewhere. Who pays these blokes to behave like this to customers is mind boggling. Seems I’m not alone looking at the other reviews.

Some staff members are nice but some are very rude and shouldn't be working with customers. Shelves often empty or low on stock.Prices for some items much higher than other shops (up to 40% difference). Also prices displayed often scan as a more expensive price. I've had to pick up staff on this on two occasions.On the plus side, they sometimes have good plants.

I've never done a google review before but the service is so bad I am sharing this in the hope that no one shops there in the future. We ordered timber for delivery. Paid for the timber but were wrongly (under) charged and were required to come into the store to pay the extra (couldn't pay the extra via the phone). Delivery was late. Then the wrong timber was delivered. We phoned FIVE TIMES. Staff kept saying that the manager" would call back. Never heard a peep out of them. Next day when we finally got through

Absolutely disgraceful service in their sand and soil yard. Every time I’m picking up material they have only one staff member operating the till and that same person loads you. You’ll waste hours of your time here. I’d suggest using their competitors. Super unorganised business, clearly needing more staff. Perhaps their boss should look after them better so they stop quitting!

Received a wood delivery today. Excellent service from the driver, Guy - he couldn’t have been more helpful. Totally impressed with the way he negotiated my awkward driveway which was further obstructed by a mulch pile. Very happy.
