The park has a lot of green space to hang out and lie down around, and with plenty of graffiti walls and an artistic mosaic wall on one of the buildings, its a good place to walk through on a sunny day and appreciate the local culture the reserve has to offer.

After having a coffee and light lunch at Woodfrog Bakery we decided to walk through this reserve on our way to Acland Street. It's a small reserve with open gassed areas, garden beds with shrubs and well established native trees. There's a kids playground that has a small basketball court but very limited and basic playground equipment. There's also a very interesting, colourful and artistic mosaic wall, known as the Great Wall of St Kilda. There are pathways, park benches and a stylish drinking fountain, but no toilets or BBQ facilities but still lots of open lawn space for a picnic. It was a pleasant walk through this park on our way to iconic Acland Street.
