We had the most delicious succulent Chinese meals tonight, I am so fussy with Chinese cuisine and Lai Lai did not disappointment.Big review to Jake, he is so friendly and efficient and also to his offsider who were serving the other diners you did not go unnoticed.WE WILL BE BACK already craving your delicious food!!!

I've ordered from here twice now and both times have been disappointing. I thought we'd give it another go tonight and we were yet again disappointed. The sweet and sour chicken was SO overcooked (like the previous 2x) and as a result, its tough and chewy. The rice also had a burnt taste to it, almost like I could taste the char from the pan it was cooked in. What is more disappointing is when I phoned to give this feedback, the only response I got was 'Sorry about that' and the lady hung up the phone on me. Terrible food and worse customer service so I won't ever order from here again.

First time ordering from here and it is my last time, honey chicken I ordered had hair in it I called multiple times but your impossible to contact unless you walk into the shop why even have a phone number listed if you don’t use it?

The young man who took our order was superb. The place was hot and dingy. We decided not to dine in. Takeaway food was ok, fried rice tasted burnt. Won't be reordering.

The special fried rice had a burnt taste to it, the battered chicken was tough and chewy.My husband said worst chow mein he has ever had.Won’t be going again

I called up to order a beef and black bean as well as a satay chicken. When I picked it up and got home there was no noodles or rice. I called up to ask why and got told you have to buy them as extra. Thanks for telling me after. Who orders Chinese without rice or noodles?

Dishonest business, were told 20 mins wait for our meal when we phoned to place our order. Took over an hour. We had a football event to attend which we are now late for. All people ask for is your honesty when they place an order.

I love this Chinese I get take out every week Lai Lai special fried rice is a must , beef and black bean or sweet and sour chicken . One of the best special fried rices and the beef and black bean I've ever eaten

I didn't like the food. The quality wasn't there. Portion sizes were large. The fried rice was dry and almost crunchy. The honey chicken was crunchy on the outside but tough and chewy on the inside. Chilli lamb was mild. Go here if you want large portion sizes. If you want quality but not quantity go to Bamboo garden restaurant.

Lai Lai Chinese Restaurant
Ate here a few days ago and was amazed at the wonderful food. The restaurant itself looked old and worn complete with mismatched cutlery, pealing wallpaper and non-functional air-conditioning. Once the food arrived though nothing else mattered, it was just so good. The price was very reasonable too. Will most definitely be going back for more.
