Always positive experience

I have seen Celia at Wollongong and Unanderra practice for treatment. I even brought my daughter along for a check up. She is very lovely and welcoming, friendly even. I was going to make Jones Dental my family's dental care provider. Until I had fillings done on 3 of my teeth. Not only did Celia work on 3 teeth instead of just the 2 that we agreed on, but she did not even ask permission or confirmation that she can proceed with the 3rd tooth. I still got charged for it. Imagine if I couldn't pay for it? After all, it cost me $810 (before private health insurance). If this wasn't enough, I have had nothing but trouble with my teeth ever since she touched them. I went back twice for her to check them, she even took an X-ray. She said everything was fine. Yet it was not, not for me, not in my mouth. I was due to come back for the 3rd time where she admitted there was a micro gap left in the filling of one of the teeth and that's why I was in discomfort. She was going to fix it by drilling a chunk of the filling out and re-filling the tooth. I got as far as sitting in the dentist chair before I decided I could not go through with it, the anxiety of her doing work on my tooth again and potentially stuffing it up again, was just too much and I listened to my gut and left. Overall, this experience has dragged out for 6 weeks and has been very traumatic for me. I have lost complete trust in Celia Jones as a dentist. I have taken my business to another private dentist instead. And, funny enough, he checked Celia's work and instantly noticed all her mistakes. Not only that but he could actually read the xray correctly and explained to me what was wrong. I am now a lot calmer and have confidence in my new dentist and I trust him with his plant to fix the issues caused by Celia's handy work.I do not recommend Celia Jones to anyone, if you truly care about your dental health and emotional well-being, do not let her do any work on your teeth. And, she charges more too.

Big referb since I had last been. Very clean and modern dentistry. Staff are friendly and professional as was my dentist - Dr Dan Luo!

My usual dentist is Michael Wood, who is the best. Unfortunately I couldn't get in to see him the other day, so I saw Dr Jie Dan Luo, who was very good. I had broken a tooth and was very uptight about what may have to be done. I need not have worried, he fixed my tooth, without any bother, he was very gentle. I can highly recommend him. Thank you.

Jones was recommended by a colleague who insisted, being the best - they are almost impossible to get an appointment with. I was lucky on that day they'd had a cancellation so I jumped. A couple of visits in, I realised there was an issue with a filling I'd had replaced - a few months later it felt like something was stuck in it, and soon enough it hurt more than before the repair. I called and they insisted they had never done any work on that tooth or the other I had done in the session! They insisted that their record keeping is so accurate it was not possible for me to be right. I was also told some other quite inaccurate information. It's my mouth, I know where a needle and drill goes in! I even offered to come in and open up and show them. Needless to say, offer was not taken up and I was told the dentist would call me. They never did. Anywhere else they would say 'come in, we'll have a look for you.' I was made to feel like a fraud. Never had this sort of problem before with a dentist. So long Jones, I've gone elsewhere to get it fixed and I won't be back. I will say the dentist was lovely but the price, and the attitude - no thanks, not again.
