Acme Framing

We commissioned AcmeFraming to frame one of our Hermes scarf 90cm x 90cm, our requirement is to have the scarf Hand-stitch onto a selected piece of Special Base-cloth to served as the wide border surrounding the scarf. A special frame was selected to achieve extra height and depth, with spacer between clear Acrylic front for protection. The finished framed scarf is beautifully presented. We are very happy with the result from unique craftsmanship and handling throughout the entire process of the framing. We highly recommend AcmeFraming for their Professionalism and Skill-set. Whilst I originally gave a 5 star review, I have had to amend it.(NEW REVIEW)Unfortunately within a year of purchase, a buyers artwork crashed off their wall due to the failure of the frames fixings.This ruined the integrity of the $1000 ACME frame, as well as property damage!As an Artist this is not only embarrassing but unacceptable with archival quality framing.

Amazing craftsmanship. Spent over 45 minutes working through framing possibilities for two paintings and one photo here. Framing is an art, and Acme nails it. The result speaks for itself.

I recently took a poster that I’ve had for over 20 years to Geoff for advice on framing. It had been blu-tacked to my various office walls for all of that time and was a little worse for wear. Geoff spent significant time showing me different options in terms of style and price. I went with the more expensive option that showed the poster in all its glory. It looks fantastic on my wall and I couldn’t be happier with the process and outcome. A very professional service.

I wanted to create a custom frame for a digital photo frame that I had built. It was a technical job that required a different way of thinking. I was immediately impressed with Jim's attitude: he clearly saw this as an interesting and fun project, rather than be daunted by the challenge. He spent time talking through the various options and gave me confidence that he understood the requirements. The end result exceeded my expectations in both build quality and design. I would say prices are fair but you won't regret your choice. I would highly recommend Acme Framing.

I recently entrusted Acme Framing with the task of framing a handmade silk carpet. Their attention to detail was exceptional. They provided invaluable suggestions concerning the choice of backing board and glass, ensuring the preservation and presentation of the carpet were of the highest quality. Additionally, they sought the expertise of an external specialist to remove the fringe, which I personally did not like. The level of professionalism and craftsmanship demonstrated by Acme Framing truly exceeded my expectations.
