Every time we order temaki they deliver the wrong order I think it's a lack of respect for the customer because it's not something cheap I asked for a temaki, I called to complain and they told me that I have to assemble the temaki even though I opted for a temaki with cream cheese and chives they told me that if I don't specify what I want I'll only get the salmon and seaweed as mine came I'm disappointed

It is rare that I usually write a review about a restaurant I have visited. I have been to many Japanese restaurants before, all around the world, and I can assure you that this is one of the best ever!Sensui has one of the most original and delicious Japanese menus. Every single dish we ordered was magnificent! There was a wide selection of dishes, most of them that I had not had before.Do not mistake this little restaurant as your typical suburban venue. The staff are extremely friendly, the ambience, homely, and the food memorable. All the meals are reasonably priced, and portions sizeable. Great value!I am so glad that I got the opportunity to visit, and I am looking forward to going there again… very very soon!

Good sushi with some unique flavor combinations. Some of the rolls were standout and I wish we had more of them! Enjoyed trying the banana, but wouldn’t order again.

A little more expensive than usual but definitely worth it. The food is so fresh and full of flavour. Beautiful presentation with the sushi boats.

I am a regular customer of this venue, normally I order takeaway and the food is always delicious and fresh.However, It’s a shame that the dine-in experience was not the best. I understand businesses are busy sometimes but when you have an empty dining room (even if the tables are booked) and they decide to accept a Walk-in customer they should have a good attitude and a friendly service.Otherwise, it is an incomplete experience and it left us a sour evening as we didn’t feel welcome.Then when my partner asked something about the booking in a nice way, the reply received was bitter and not friendly.Something to work on, we both have been in hospitality for a very long time and we always try our best to accomodate and make the customers feel welcome and happy no matter how unhappy we might be.

Probably some of the best sushi I’ve had in Sydney, incredibly fresh and the staff are so nice! They even gave us a free one to try. 10/10

Ordered the purple belt with avocado and a hot banana roll. Some of the selections in the purple belt were excellent, while others were just average. Also for the price I’d expect to not have pre-packaged ginger & wasabi. Perhaps this was because I ordered takeaway but have better options for dine-in? Hot banana was good, but wouldn’t crave it upon a second order.Though I ordered for takeaway you can see from my photos that the location is nice and the staff were quick and friendly.

Me and my wife we love sushi and we have tried this kind of food at many places in Australia and without doubt we can say that Sensei Sushi is our favourite restaurant!!!The fish is fresh, the size of sushi is perfect, they have great options of combos, the facility is cosy and the staff are very considerate, I would recommend this place to everyone that likes sushi or want to try it for the first time!!!
