Dennis is the man. Great Guy with knowledge and prices and support. Does what he says. Not really a car salesman sort of guy or the stereotype version we know of.

Sales were great, service has been good….finance was sloppy 5 years ago when I purchased and is still sloppy 5 years later upon attmpting to refinance my balloon, resulting in me seeking finance external to Mini/BMW purely on principal that the experience has been poor and my ongoing business is not deserved.I will absolutely buy a new Mini (when they start producing manuals again), I may buy from North Shore Mini, I will not finance through North Shore Mini/BMW. This part of the business unfortunately doesn’t reflect positively for the North Shore Mini/BMW brand.

I'm not one to do reviews, ever, however, I do hope people read this...As much fun as buying a new car should be....rarely it is, due to the industry and sub standard car sales people that we need to interact with. However, I purchased a new Mini on my 74yo mothers behalf in July. I was taken back by how genuine, respectful, knowledgeable and down to earth the team at North Shore Mini were.I had dealings with two members of the North shore Mini team and Dennis, the manager, was incredible (the deal was done through Dennis). I don't say that lightly.Respect, customer service, humility, are such simple yet often over looked characteristics in the car industry. We bought our brand new Mini Cooper from Northshore for one main reason. Dennis....Yes, price is important, yes, availability is important. I can confirm a fair deal was done but it was Dennis, his superior service, humility, patience and professionalism, that got this deal done.We shopped around, spoke to and visited other Mini dealerships in Sydney but mum and I didnt want to deal with anyone else.Dennis, thank you for for making the purchase of mums new car exciting, enjoyable and particularly for being able to pick it up on her actual birthday!!You were a gentleman to deal with and you were/are a delight to deal with. A sincere thank you and we have already passed on your details to friends who are looking at Mini's.Many thanks, David and Liz :-)P.s, after driving mums Mini, I think I want one ;-)

Was good overall. But they could improve on customer delivery experience. There was lack of enthusiasm from the delivery team and the overall experience was less enjoyable compared to what I had when buying Holden, Toyota and Kia in the past.

My highlight is for the finance team in North Shore MINI Garage. The guy who handle my application (Jay Yang) is professional and very assuring in the way he communicate.

We were lucky enough to recently drive home the first fully electric Mini Cooper S from the North Shore Mini garage. The service was absolutely spectacular from start to finish. Dennis, Vanessa and Kristine were a great team and really took the time to go through our new car with us in detail. Our car was picked up for it first service shortly after, within an amazing timeframe and all the additions that we had asked for were included.I have never felt so special as a customer when buying a car!The Mini is super fun to drive, I absolutely love her!Thank you so much Dennis and Team, we would thoroughly recommend you to anyone wanting to own a Mini.Melissa and Anthony Lewis

I contacted North Shore Mini Garage in Chatswood in regards to purchasing a Mini EV. The only choice is the Mini Cooper with a very low range – 200 kliks - that wouldn’t get you very far out of town before you would need to stop for thirty minutes to an hour to charge up the battery. If you are lucky: you are first in the queue at the charging station and there aren’t ten folks ahead of you. Otherwise, you would be spending several hours cooling your heels waiting for your turn at the charging station. We had owned two previous Minis – a 2002 model when they first came out – and later on a Mini D (Diesel). We enjoyed the go-kart feel of the vehicle but ultimately opted for a 4-door small petrol car: an Audi A1 with four-doors.Australia is a large continent and to get anywhere out of the city you need to cover a minimum 500 kilometres at one go to enjoy your getaway. So essentially the Mini EV is a city car. You would need a petrol car – or a Tesla (long range) – in your garage to cover any meaningful distance.Range anxiety is a very real concern and the charging infrastructure is still in its infancy in Australia. At the very least it will be another 4-5 years before we have some parity with petrol stations – in the thousands.Anyway, I looked at the Mini North Shore website and saw a really nice Mini Cooper Resolution. The salesperson was unaccommodating in the extreme. Refused to negotiate on the price for the Mini and moreover gave us an extremely – low ball – trade-in on our Audi Q2, 2018 model. If you have been reading the news of late you would have noticed two trends:Second hand Premium SUVs are in short supply and in high demand and EV vendors are marking up their vehicles by 30%-50%. Now I know only too well about being an early adopter. When Flat Screen TVs first came out, they cost $35,000. And weren’t that flat or good. Now you can get a premium Flat Screen for under $5K with a fully developed OS and apps. So, you pay a price for being an early adopter. My advice to anyone considering an EV – Tesla is the only car with a long range (600-700 kliks) but the quality is suss. And the other brands are playing catchup and/or selling top end cars (read: $150,000 and above) to recoup their R&D.Following my experience of looking at BMW, Mini, Tesla, Kia, Hyundai is wait! By 2026 the charging infrastructure will be much more mature; there will be many more brand name cars out there with reputation, range and reliability (not toys from China) and consequently you won’t get attitude like I did when I called North Shore Mini. And, oh, keep well away from Toyota – they are heavily invested in Hybrid and their first attempt at an EV was an unmitigated disaster. And oh, before I close off. BMW/Mini still offer a pathetic 3-year warranty whereas most vendors are offering 5-7 years!

The teams at North Shore BMW were absolutely amazing. Great team helped us a lot through the whole process.I highly recommend them; they are very helpful, professional and friendly. Special thanks to Zoe for helping us.Pretty shame the day we bookedpicking the car, she was day off. However, she follows up to check everything goes alright when she was back to work. We are extremely happy with our mini. +

Not going to lie, feels weird giving a 5 star review to a car dealership.Dealt with Paul and Dennis initially, great conversations, took their time explaining the models and they are willing to deal but also no hard pressure. If you want to buy, buy, if you want to just browse, browse, felt completely comfortable the whole time browsing. After sales before settlement was just as pleasant experience, needed some additional info, Dennis was good at returning calls and following things up.All in great experience including pick up, scheduled a long enough time to talk through all the features of the car and how to use them, real breadth of fresh air from previous experiences.Recommended to see them if you are considering a Mini.
