Meat is better here than the store at Southgate but the women behind the counter has a terrible attitude

Top quality meat and decent prices and great range with the staff to match highly recommended shopping here..

It's not often that you find nitrate free bacon, so I was very pleased to see that here, as well as grass fed meat (not grain fed!!)The greatest find for me was great cheap dog meat, bones and treats - you have to get in quick though or it all disappears!

Delightful staff and service. A great selection of meat, plain and marinated. This is the shop I always go to for my lamb shanks.

Should change the closing time to 5:20.Apparently the other doors were open…. When I walked to the door and shook the doors…. Both people behind the counter looked at me and just walked out the back.

It's always a treat when my pension stretches enough to pop in here . From budget chicken schnitzel, through marinated steaks (pork and beef) as well as the simple and cheap kebabs and great range of herbs & spices. Good value, great service. Added bonus of being locally sourced meats too - gotta support our local farmers

I’ve been buying from here for the past year now and haven’t been disappointed by anything. Their marinated drumsticks and wingettes are delicious! Super friendly service and great cooking suggestions. I’ve moved from the south but still come back to stock up. Highly recommend!

We have been buying our meat from Christie’s beach steak shoppe for a few months now. So it’s time to tell all shoppers. I will admit I bought meat from Woollies and Coles only for convenience when I don’t have any Venison in the freezer . I really haven’t been excited with the meat I buy from them. I’m not saying it’s cost it’s more for the taste and quality. I’m guessing once you have been eaten venison for years it’s hard to eat tasteless meat.Since we have been purchasing meat from steak shoppe we are so happy with the quality and variety but most of all it’s all about taste for me.All the staff are extremely helpful and help with cooking suggestions. We had the mint lamb chops tonight WOW. I don’t normally like mint in my lamb, I don’t know what they do to prepare the mint lamb but wow so nice.I have to say the meat we have bought has been TOP Notch.If you are looking for something different just ask I’m sure they will accomodate your request.While your there grab a pepperoni stick YUM. On the other hand don’t there want be any left for me.Take it from me once you have tried there meat you want go anywhere else.Dave

Went to this butcher for two reasons; It was recommended by a friend and it was open on a Sunday. Everything we bought was top quality and good value, great service too.
