The Gallery Tattoo

I got my first ever tattoo done by Matt Ford in December last year and I was super happy with the results and I still am now even after the healing process, it looks amazing! I went in with an idea of what I wanted but he took the time to create a tattoo that was unique and would best suit me and the placement. He had a few different designs made up so I had more of a choice to what I liked more and all those designs were amazing on their own! During the tattooing stage, he kept checking on me to make sure I was doing okay and that it wasn’t too painful for me. He was very nice and did an amazing job on the tattoo! I’m still very happy with how it looks now after almost 9 months since getting it done!The gallery tattoo was very clean and the staff were friendly too, the whole environment was relaxing and warm which allowed me to stay more calm and relaxed during the process.I’ll definitely be going back to get another tattoo from him!

WOW.... I've got my very first tattoo done by Juse at the Gallery Tattoo couple of weeks as I wanted something special to stay with me from my travels through New Zealand. From the very first contact to the final tattoo on my ankle it was such a fantastic experience. As I was travelling I had a narrow time window to get the tattoo done - but the guys at Gallery Tattoo went beyond to make sure that a session could take place during the days I was in Wellington. THANK YOU!Juse is an awesome tattoo artist, who understood right away what I wanted. He is professional, talented and so such a great guy!! He checked on me during the session, made sure I felt comfortable and understood every step of the process. The drawing was already wonderful and the final tattoo is just amazing!!! I LOVE IT!!! I smile every time I look at it. For sure will be back at Gallery Tattoo and Juse for my next tattoo, when I get back to Welly - which is hopefully soon! THANKS, JUSE!!! :)

I got a tattoo from Matt last week. The tattoo is stunning, and I love it so much! Matt is very professional, knowledgeable, and has good taste. He is a good communicator and was very patient in adjusting the designs. I respect his strong work ethic and attention to detail as it really makes a tattoo come to life and stand out from all others!I highly recommend Matt if you want impressive tattoo art. I'm very happy to have my first tattoo here! I also really like the vibe of the studio; it’s relaxing and with a good indoor-outdoor flow.

The Gallery Tattoo is a beautiful light filled building the middle of town. Easy to find a park! Juse was amazing. I met with him to talk over my ideas and what he designed was perfect. So happy with the whole experience. Thank you!

Matt is a really nice a professional artist.I asked only 2 days in advance and they took me on. Matt took great care of me even though my tattoo was quite small and simple.Would go back again if I ever find myself on this side of the globe again.

I did a full arm Tattoo with Juse. I presented him my idea and the design he came with was perfectly fitting with what I wanted. But on top of being a very talented artist, He was super nice to deal with. The all tattoo session was fun and we had great laugh. I would totally recommend him.

Wow! I knew Matt Ford was going to be good but I never in my wildest dreams imagined my tattoo would be so incredible. The detail is phenomenal. Matt is a true artist and so talented. He listened to what I wanted and created an amazing drawing. Most importantly he did not get offended when I wanted a few changes to it for personal reasons. He was patient and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the design. And then he created the most beautiful tattoo ever and I am over the moon. What an amazing piece of art!I cannot stop looking at it. I highly recommend Matt.
