Blaire and the team at Tropical Hill are so friendly and have great attention to detail in everything they do.I get regular colours and treatments with Blaire- she asks for feedback every time, really listens and makes sure my hair is healthy. She is great with my blonde colour- it blends well as it grows out.I also get Keratin treatments with Jess and it’s amazing for my hair in the humidity.I always walk out of Tropical Hill feeling and looking amazing, can’t recommend them enough!

I have been seeing Blaire since she opened Tropical Hill, three years ago. Initially when I came to her I expressed that this would be my last hairdresser I'd try to achieve blonde balayage with no success in the previous several salons.After a thorough discussion about what I wanted, what hadn't worked etc, I have continued to achieve my desired look each visit.I find Blaire considered and thorough in her consultations before commencing, during and after - really ensuring she hits the mark with what you want.Cannot recommend this salon more.

Blair and her team are the only people I trust with my hair here in Cairns. Their attention to detail, colouring expertise are second to none. They are patient and totally understand what you want when it comes to your hair. They even have treats rather than just usual coffee. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough.

Blaire has been my hairdresser for many years. She is an awesome blonde specialist and does an amazing job on maintaining my hair which is super sensitive to colour. Past hairdressers have unfortunately fried my hair so I am greatly appreciative of having someone who knows my hairs limits but still allows me to be blonde in a beautifully natural way.Cannot recommend Blaire and her awesome team more. If you are looking for hairdressers that really listen to what you want and work with you to look your very best then Tropical Hill is definitely the salon for you.

Tropical Hill is the only hairdresser that I’ve had that will sit down and speak with you about the history of your hair and what the end goal is. They provide information about what condition your hair is currently in and what to do to maintain hair health. I had such an enjoyable time. Service was amazing and Jess is so kind and helpful. We even had a few giggles here and there. I cannot recommend Tropical Hill enough!!!

The most amazing experience from start to finish. Adele explained my hair to me, educated me about the best treatment, how to achieve the results I wanted realistically and to ensure the health of my hair at every step. I left the salon with the amazing hair I wanted, and feeling like I will be able to maintain the salon fresh look at home with the methods she has taught me. Not to mention amazing customer service, complimentary cocktail and wonderful chats. Can’t thank you enough!

I recently went to visit Adele after having a nightmare experience at a different Salon in which my hair was sadly over bleached and I lost heaps of length. I was super nervous to go back to salon, however as soon as I met Adele and we started talking about my hair recovery journey I knew I had come to the right place. Adele restored my confidence. For my first appointment I had a few scattered highlights across my T-Section, so I still felt like a bright blonde & a trim. Which looked fabulous & I started to feel like myself. Since visiting the salon after using products Adele recommended I feel like my hair is coming back. Despite now moving out of Cairns I will return frequently just so Adele can do my hair!Thank you again & I’m looking forward to getting my hair back on track with you.
