Reece Plumbing

First day of lockdown and I was turned away for an essential job today. I didn’t even need to purchase anything - just exchange an incorrect part they sold me the day prior for an item I brought into their store to size/inspect. Had to drive all the way to Bunnings who were more helpful on the phone and in store than Reece. Unbelievable but true. If you guys can’t win on service and specialist plumbing knowledge then you haven’t got a chance. This doesn’t go for all staff in the store - just the manager who was borderline rude the way he spoke to me in front of two other staff members. Notice a similar comment in the reviews for this store. Management retraining required before subordinates mirror poor behaviour. Will not return to this store. Beware.

Having purchased two bathroom mixer taps from Reece that were faulty I would not purchase from them again.The warranty claim didn't start well, with Reece passing the buck to the plumber carrying out the original install. Only after providing Reece with video of the issue did they take responsibility and progress the lengthy process of replacing both taps.The plumbers Reece sent to install the replacement taps installed them crooked. When my partner, who was present during the install, asked them if they could adjust them they got angry and she didn't feel safe.A totally unprofessional and unacceptable situation from both Reece and the plumbers they use.

I feel some of the staff there only make plumbers feel welcome if you are a DYI just after a couple of mixer hoses they treat you as you shouldn't be doing the job and you should pay a plumber to do such a basic job!!!!! Wont be back again.

Reece Hobart have provided me with sound advice and are very helpful with with all my plumbing enquiries.

These people have the exclusive license for a brand of pump which they sold me. This means that no other company can service this pump, and these people refuse to service it. This means I need to throw away a water pump I bought a year ago. I can't imagine how this is of benefit to them, but it's certainly extortion and I certainly will NEVER visit one of their stores again
