Awesome little joint. Intimate setting and great priced drinks. Love it when I can get a pint of Stone and Wood on tap at a gig!

Watched 3 bands here. All different. $12: entry, girl on the door a bit sulky but all other staff great. Drinks at normal prices . No too busy, pool table out back clean toilets. Plenty of parking, dark out front. Will go again to seeYou am I I'm hoping

I mainly come here for gigs and the musicians I see are very talented upcoming musicians that I enjoy watching. After seeing Aunty Donna, I came back to see their supporting act Saint Ivory a few months later and they were amazing, once again! I will definitely come back for events and more gigs from upcoming Ballarat artists.

The bouncer was so disrespectful. My friends and I got denied and all he said was “I don’t need a reason not to let you guys in”. We were not drunk and had done nothing wrong.

Unpretentious and intimate venue, hosting lots of great acts over the years. Awesome little place. If I lived closer, it would be my local.

Incredible music venue in the heart of Ballarat. Karova is located conveniently right near Ballarat train station and is a very short walk. Also within short range is a decent variety of restaurants and shops that you can eat at before/after the show.As for the venue itself, Karova is a really good sounding venue. The band room has decent acoustics that lend to the sound of the band performing. There was a nice selection of beers on offer and an area to hang out and drink them/play pool and relax if the show got too overwhelming. Fantastic venue, I'd recommend playing here if you get the chance

Probably best venue in Ballarat.Great size with a cool back room. Good sound.Only weird bit is where you enter, in the middle of the crowdBut otherwise cool place

Really awesome live venue offering excellent selection of craft beer. The small lounge area at the rear is a great addition to the place with pool table and retro video game. Looking forward to the next excuse to go there.

One of the best bars I have ever been to hands down. Great local music and atmosphere. Drinks are not over priced.
