IronBark Hill Brewhouse

I attended a glorious wedding on 12th November at this wonderful venue surrounded by vineyards. The wedding took place in the chapel which had a mix of old world pews and an up to date sound reproduction system, a huge window which showed off a background vineyard view as the vows were given and received. The reception area is breathtaking and would suit a winter wedding as well, sandstone columns and a huge fireplace give the room a wonderful ambience. The food was divine and catered for all diet preferences, the staff were super friendly and accommodating making the whole day and night an exceptional experience

The IronBark Hill ‘Black Forest Stout’ was one of my top 5 GABS picks for the year, so my expectations were pretty high. Unfortunately the restaurant itself was fairly average overall, a very limited mid-week menu whereas the pizzas were just ‘OK’. The scenery across the vineyards was quite enjoyable under a drizzle of rain though. Don’t believe there were any facilities for kids on site, usually we find the breweries are pretty good in this regards.

Initially we had a small problem with our order. However Sam completely resolved our issues to make it a really positive experience. We left feeling satisfied and happy to have visited. We will definitely be back.

Wow the food was amazing. Pizza with chosen toppings. The special Lamb stuffed capsicum and the Brownie with salted caramel and ice cream. Most importantly the staff were wonderful, pleasant, easy going. Thank you all for your service. We will be back! PS I only got a photo of the dessert as I paused to take a breather as I was stuffed and satisfied from the mains.

Great service and good pizzas! We arrived late and kitchen was already closed however chef accepted our order. Thank you bar staff and chef! I highly recommend this place. See you again!

Great Brewery for informal get togethers with friends and family. A good selection of on-site brewed beers and a nice choice of pizzas and cafe-style meals. The atmosphere is relaxed with a view of the vineyard and gum trees.

Great place for some delicious beers. Some reviews said the pizzas were not good but we thought they were fine. We had the prosciutto and the meatlovers and they were both good. Beers were great, WCIPA was my pick but keep an eye on which beers they put on your tasting paddle as there's no guide or notation as to which is which.

Great spot to call into, with lots of food options including pizza. Brewery is great with big variety of styles, wine tasting too ! Plenty of undercover outdoor areas.

Do not waste your time! This was our first stop on our pre arranged/purchased Hunter Valley Tour and it was a terrible start to the day.Iron bark Hill was meant to be a brewery that offered beer tastings - this is what we were told we had purchased.We were poured a singular drink of our choice, asked to pay (when it had already been pre paid) and asked to sit at a specific bar table regardless of the fact that we were the only people there.On arrival we were hardly acknowledged and in fact, the staff seemed shocked that we were even there. We left with the same amount of service - none! Considering that we were the only people there they were definitely not too busy with other guests or patrons.
