I had an introductory phone call with Stephen Jacobs.As someone who was considering engaging in six sessions at $160 each I felt that this therapist showed a poor capacity to communicate.My question was simple: ‘when you worked with other people with complex PTSD and have you found that more than six sessions can be valuable?’ he would not tell me.

VERY disappointing experience. PsychMatters runs their business in an incredibly inept way. My phone calls were mostly ignored, as were my continual requests to seek information about my son's appointments. Would NOT recommend.

I can’t vouch for the other psychologists in this practice nor will I comment on the efficiency of the receptionists because this is a very busy establishment and things do get hectic. However, I will say that our experience with psychologist Maya has been very positive. My teenage sons enjoy their therapy sessions as she is kind, attentive and extremely professional.

I called to book an appointment and the receptionist /psychologist wasn’t patient with me which is very sad ,it’s my first time experience and it took me along time to decide on seeing someone and now I’m not motivated anymore.
