dollar curtains + blinds Wonthaggi

Initially i was happy with the service provided. Very prompt to arrange quote and when we advised to proceed the whole process was easy. But when issues arose - all i hear is crickets.I paid for quality curtain wands and they installed cheaper plastic ones. Its been over 1 year since i asked them to provide the correct ones. I also have roman blinds that were installed and are coming off the wall. I didnt want to pay the balance owing as once you pay - you never get the service. After many emails and phone calls - they advised that unless i pay - they are not going to rectify the issues. So i paid the balance owing in June 2021 - and after 14 emails and numerous phone calls - here we are approaching 1 yr later and all they can tell me is that they are busy and will get to it.Most times there will be no issues - but the true test of a good business is to respond when there are issues - and they have failed miserably.Looks like i will need to go to VCAT to get a result on what should be an easy fix.

Had blinds made and installed 8 years ago and needed a chain repair. No urgency I said. Fixed same day. Cost? No charge. Thanks for the great service. Highly recommended.

Popped in there as I had an old blind mechanism that was failing. Blind was not one of theirs originally but they fixed it at no cost. Great service.

Thanks DC&B Wonthaggi for your patience. I must have asked for a dozen quotes as I worked my way through from too expensive to sophisticated and affordable. A big extra thanks goes to DC&B in Doncaster. I made several trips out there to discuss all my options. I was given so much help about style, colour, texture, cost. The consultants at Doncaster were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My house looks great!

They did an awesome job and i will be getting them back to do window treatments for our new builds here at the retirement village in Leongatha.Thanks again :)

Unfortunately there is no opportunity to give a zero star rating. A truly unbelievably awful experience. Started off very well with good service but it went downhill after that. 1) incorrect measurements 2) Pleating of curtain was just gathered, despite paying for a more expensive pleat. 3) went into the shop on four occasions requesting the manager contact me, to no avail. 4) was finally given the 'elusive' managers phone number and he didn't return my call. None of the faults were rectified and despite the above and explaining to Yvonne at the shop what the problems were, no attempt was made to contact me.Please think very carefully before throwing away money with this company. Dollar Curtains Wonthaggi provided curtains, blinds and plantation shutters for my new home and I am thrilled with them all.A couple of small adjustments were required and these were undertaken quickly without any fuss and completed perfectly.I was also very thankful for their honest advice when working through options for outdoor awnings.No hesitation in recommending this division of Dollar Curtains to all

I think I dodged a bullet not going with these guys.. it’s been four weeks after they came out for a second time to take measurements (after the initial was measured incorrectly) and I’m still waiting for a quote, despite several emails to follow up. Now reading the reviews I’m happy I went elsewhere.
