Hi Shane,In response to your previous reply. Your behaviour yesterday afternoon was some of the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. There was no mistake in the booking, there was no rudeness to your staff. This was 3pm in the afternoon and we simply asked you a question of swapping tables. It would not have impacted the other bookings as it was purely a swap. Your attitude and aggression the minute we asked this request was uncalled for. As I had made clear to you, I had some wonderful conversations leading up to this day with your staff, they were friendly and accommodating. Which is why a group of 15 Mums who arranged this catch up 3 months ago were so excited to attend. If the request was unreasonable, we would have simply gone to another venue. I made no threats or refusal to pay and that is complete slander. There was 15 other witnesses to that and your behaviour. I understand you are trying to protect your businesses reputation in your reply below, but you really should have thought about that before you reacted in such a manner yesterday afternoon, and today on reflection have some remorse. But you are correct, after such an experience we will never be returning to your venue, and when asked we will be explaining that it was solely due to your behaviour and not that of your staff.

This restaurant is endowed with old South American charm, enthusiasm & noteworthy flavours. No small feet for a regional venue. Wonderful cuisine with premium ingredients. We were incredibly lucky to have the best seat in the house – on the balcony picking up some lovely coastal breeze.The food was marvellous. Believe it or not the sauce on the Patatas Bravas was the most impressive. Such divine kick to the palate on a simple dish. Credit also goes to the wood fired Freemantle octopus with its appetizing citrus oil.The drink menu is incredibly well curated and exceeds the cliché of “something for everyone”. It bestows real choice and discovery within a menu for rookie drinkers and aficionados alike. I haven't had anything so interesting in a while. A fantastic night enjoyed by all. Can't wait to be back.

We have lunch booked through the Girls Gateway. The customer service was great. We enjoyed the lunch except that the fish was too salty .

My husband and I believe a 5 star rating is awarded when something can’t be faulted. This is definitely the case for Chica Chica.We dined in for dinner last night and on our way there, there was a car accident which caused us to be late for our reservation. We called to make the staff aware of this and upon arriving, we were greeted by a lovely waiter who said “we’re glad you made it here safely”.This waiter was so accommodating for our pram bearing family that he rearranged table settings to ensure we were most comfortable.Our order was taken promptly and also arrived quite swiftly, considering the full restaurant.Beautiful soft music played over the clean, fresh, calm space and delicious scents wafted past us as other patrons received their meals.We ordered the beef, chicken, pork and zucchini tacos and honestly struggled to pick our favourite. What I do know is, we will be back for another serve of zucchini tacos!It should also be mentioned that the classic margaritas are very well made and at $8 a piece on a Wednesday, you might want to order an Uber!The service was outstanding, we can’t wait to return! Thank you Chica Chica!

The restaurant owner Shane completely humiliated my sister in law yesterday. He was rude, abrupt and disrespectful. He spoke down to her saying she was in the wrong for asking a simple request of moving an extra table to our existing table.We were a group of 12 mums. Excited to have some cocktails and food. Not there to cause a fuss. Simply enjoy the afternoon together.I hope you feel good with yourself today Shane. Making 12 Mums feel like a rowdy bunch of lads being kicked out of a venue.You need to update your customer service skills, there is a short Tafe course I suggest you enrol in.All this could have been avoided if you used come common sense and kindness.

Food was great, very tasty, good flavour combinations and well presented.My partner said It is good to see a vegan friendly main (roasted cauliflower) that is thoughtful, interesting and tastes great.The prime rib is traditionally served MR, we did ask for Medium though and it was perfect for us. The squid was perfectly flash fried and crispy with no oily residue.Very friendly and helpful staff.Head over on Margarita Monday if you want delicious cocktails for $8 each.

This place offers a wide range of food and drinks. There food was ok and the drinks were great. It is a great venue to host a large or small group of people. I think the menu has enough choices for vegetarian and non-alcoholic people to enjoy as well which is a very positive highlight for a cocktail bar. The location is not far from bus station so if you want to drink, you can take buses here and probably taxi or uber home because some bus routes stop mid afternoon.Overall, Chica Chica does a fantastic job with their menu and I will definitely come back to try different cocktails.

We came after a day at the beach with no plans for dinner. Very pleasantly surprised with the friendly and helpful staff, the well made cocktails and tacos we had. Beef tacos were our favorite!The Chocolate mousse was a hit!We were all happy with our choices and will be looking forward to come back

We went on a Wednesday where they had some great taco and marg specials on. The service was great super friendly and attentive.We had the brisket tacos (highly recommend they were our favourite), chicken tacos, pork tacos, soft shell crab tacos, corn ribs and churros to finish.We had a few different margs starting with some classics, coffee marg, coconut marg and a coffee coconut marg.Everything was amazing great food, amazing drinks and such a nice setting we will definitely be coming back.
