It is very expensive and it doesn't have much in foods and drinks. It does have the many things like milk and bread if you need dome and can't go shops but if you want bread better off getting from the bakery down the road and some for your meats there a really good butcher what sales good quality meat.The people aren't very nice in less you actually know them. It a ok place to get drink qnd something to eat if you can't wait in till you get home.

Your always guaranteed a smile at the friendly at grocer, as long as it is not John the owner who serves you..(Joking he is great also) Genuinely friendly staff who are more than happy to help you with anything you need.. They are a licensed grocer as well.. So grab a nice bottle of wine on your way to dinner.. Or a couple of travellers on the way home.. A good range of items you usually get from the larger supermarkets.. With the friendly helpful staff of an owner operated business and grocery store...

The male owner could not be bothered to get up to serve, even after looking at us several times, until we yelled out. We were right at the till, there was no way to mistake we needed service. Lazy

The Friendly Grocer.Friendly by name. Friendly by nature.Everything you need and lots of stuff you want. Very comprehensive range of products and brands.Run by locals for locals. Doesn’t get anymore personal than that.I do a lot of my gift shopping here. They run brilliant specials for occasions like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.Has a lovely feel to it.
