Montessori Childrens House

Montessori Infants House & Montessori Childrens House are Brisbane’s best kept secret. Both my children attended MIH and MCH for playgroup & kindy. The quality of educators and materials, warm & homely environment, small classes, and child-led approach all helped my children foster independence, creativity & confidence. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any parent as the best early education community for their children to learn & thrive.

My twins have been attending the infants house playgroup for the last 6 months and absolutely love it :) The activities are engaging and always extremely well thought out. The environment is very nurturing and the educator goes above and beyond to make the children and parents feel welcome and supported. It has been a wonderful find.

My daughter has been going to MCH since she was three years old and she has blossomed here in so many ways. She loves going to kindy and loves learning. The teachers and learning environment here nurtures and supports each individual in their own interests and skills. The culture, demonstrated by the experienced teachers and adopted by the students, is positive, authentic and inclusive. The Montessori pedagogy creates calm and focused learning, encouraging young minds to develop concentration, will power and confidence in their own ability. I feel like my daughter is very well prepared for school next year.

Can't speak highly enough of Montessori Children's House and the staff there. They are genuinely committed to our children's wellbeing and education - they are polite and approachable.Having experienced other kindergartens and child care centres, I rate MCH's approach, philosophy and results above any other offering.

After much searching, we chose Montessori Childrens House as the school to send our daughter and we are so happy with our decision. She is thriving and cannot wait for the days which she has kindergarten.The educators are dedicated, calm and encouraging. The space is beautiful and filled with the most interesting materials and books. The indoors flow to the outdoors and the gardens are filled with such play based fun and adventure.Montessori Childrens House are dedicated to the Montessori way and the childrenare given so much independence and encouragement to explore and learn- whether it's science, math, literacy, geography, arts or life skills.The educators send a recap of what the children do with their days along with helpful tips on how we as parents can assist at home. It's lovely to see what the children experience.

We LOVE MCH and the infants home playgroup. It’s affordable, 8-3:30, the teachers genuinely care about our kids and low staff turnover/old teachers returning after a few years. If all children had the opportunity to learn practical skills in a Child led environment, I believe we’d have a healthier and happier society.

Montessori children’s house has been such a find for our family. It’s consistently calm, safe and engaging with a balanced blend of independent and 1:1 learning time. We chose this kindergarten not because of the Montessori method (which our daughter loves) but because of the small community environment where children feel valued, make friends and develop school readiness skills. I highly recommend this kindy!!

Amazing kindy with lovely calm and caring educators. I have had all three of my children attend (my third is still there) and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The environment is beautiful inside a historic building with lovely outdoor play areas as well. The children always are occupied and content whenever I have dropped in.

What a find! This is such a beautiful and authentic play group and Kindy.I'm delighted to have my daughter enrolled. She started attending the play group initially and is now enjoying her 2nd year at the Kindy as part of the 2 yr program. As a result she has built up very fond attachment to Montessori Children's House in Auchenflower.With an extensive collection of Montessori materials and Montessori trained teachers and carers who are warm, caring and experienced, I can be confident that she is getting a very good foundation and start to her education. It is also a very calm and positive environment and I feel she has benefited from this enormously. She absolutely loves attending! I'm also looking forward to sending my other daughter next year.
