Great experience. These guys are down to earth and very friendly. They were able to restore the color of my boots after I thought I caused irreversible damage using the wrong type of cleaner. They definitely are experts and care about their customers. See you in a few weeks!

Absolutely love the outcome of my build-ups. I work 8 hours a day with these boots and they have held up well. The boot isn't much heavier then the other too! I recommend going here if you need a build-up.

I have the worst feet - and really fat cankles. I can never find shoes to fit, let alone boots. However I was so delighted to find this shop. I had a custom-made pair of boots ordered and could not be happier. I was able to choose the colour (purple), the heel and the style. At 56 years old I have finally got my first pair of boots. Milton the owner also made me some customer made orthotics which are fabulous.Also due to a covid lockdown, Milton had to post the shoes to me as I couldn't get to the shop. I was really hesitant about this, but I shouldn't have been as they fit so superbly well.I intend to go back next year and order another pair - although I live in Sydney and the store is in Canberra, it's worth the trip!

I took my friends scuffed up heels in there and he fixed them in a matter of seconds. Didn’t even charge me. Patched them up perfectly! I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and skilled work! You made my day sir and I will certainly be coming back and insist you take payment next time.

Had a pair of shoes repaired and dyed. Their work was excellent in quality, and the service was friendly, and more importantly, very honest. The repair I had done was very complicated (as I had done something very stupid with the shoes!) and they were very honest about the expectations I could have on the repair outcome, and did not try to convince me to have them repaired (by lying and saying that they’d be as good as new). I ended up coming back a few days later to have them repaired, and they came up even better than they said they would. Under-promise and over-deliver! I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!

Our puppy found a high-end designer boot and shredded the zip and surrounding leather. I thought it was beyond repairing, but brought it in to Civic Shoes to see if anything could be done. Much to my amazement they said it could be repaired - and what a repair they did! Not only was the zip and surrounding leather carefully replaced, but you have to look very closely to see any repair was done at all. True workmanship from top professionals.

The stitching on my shoe came undone and I limped in to Civic Shoe Repairs hoping they could help. Not only did the lovely man in charge fix my shoe on the spot, but he didn’t charge me! Excellent and VERY kind service; I will definitely be back.
