It happens few month ago.I ordered prawn cutlet here for dine in with other foods. Prawn cutlet was off I can smell a strong ammonia on first bite and tried next one it had same smell like off fish. I wanted to check by shef he said its completely fine and fresh, nothing smell like ammonia. I wanted cook another batch but he refused and offered refund.Anyway I was waiting for refund in front of counter but staff and chef was totally ignored me for while so I came back to my table eat rest of it. About 10-15min later staff came to me and gave me cash.It was very disapponted situation. I have been this place for multiple times and enjoyed it. Its not about the bad seafood I served, maybe it was only two bad prawns of 6 of them. Who knows.. I was expected apology and recook like any other restaurant instead of treating me as a black consumer. Seafood can be bad sometimes and I understand. But please do right action for this kind of situatation for other customers. Thank you.

Been meaning to try George's for ages. Year after year the win a place in the top 5? best. And now I can see why. Bought the 3 person pack, some prawn skewers and BBQ baby octopus. Delicious. Generous serves. These people know their stuff, they deserve their awards. I will definitely be back.

I deducted a point for food as there were no prawns in the seafood salad as advertised, disappointed about that..But the rest of their food is delicious..They even make baklava and Greek shortbread.The potato scallop was big and crunchy.There are new menu items.I had the mac and cheese balls,they were very tasty. Next I will try the mozzarella sticks..If you don't feel like fish they also sell hot dogs. A great diverse menu..

We had lunch here on Sunday to celebrate a family birthday. Some of the family hadn't seen George for over 20 years in his last shop, and it was lovely to be made to feel like special guests. The food was exceptional, fresh and delicious and the service was great with a smile. We will definitely be back.

The best fish and chips around! We made a booking for 15 the weekend just gone. We had asked if we could pre order the night before. As soon as we sat down our meals were coming out with in a couple minutes. Great service! Great staff and great food! No complainants everything was perfect.Thanks again guys!

Best fish and chips we’ve ever had. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips were crunchy and cooked in fresh oil. The service was quick with super friendly staff and the store was very clean and tidy. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone as the best in Qld.

We've lived in the area (Corunbia and now Tanah Merah) for over 12 years. First time going to George's last week. OMG such tasty burger and fries plus a Jimmy to wash it down. Generous servings too. Both of our meals were so yummy. We'll definitely go there again.We only tried the burger and fries this time... next time we'll try the seafood.

5 star in every way.Great service.Comfortable seating and excellent seafood.Cooked to perfection. We had the seafood plater for two.Really good value. Couldn't finish it so has to take it home.Fish, calamari, Queensland Sea scallops best prawn cutlets ever. Perfect chips.We ordered another salad. Wife had salad that came with the plater and I ordered the Greek salad extra.Also the grilled prawn s.Thanks to the nice people working that day. We will be back.
