Julia is amazing. So talented and very accommodating. She made our beautiful wedding cake. Never doubted how it would look or taste as you can tell she has great experience and puts so much dedication in her work. We did a tasting and my family and I were in absolute heaven. Everything was so delicious. All the cakes were moist and the fillings and creams were incredible. The Raspberry compote with freeze dried raspberries was sensational. Highly recommend with every flavour cake.

Julia is top quality ! Julia did my wedding cake and we could not fault her and her workmanship. She has so much knowledge which helped with choosing flavour variations and the final result. After having to reschedule our wedding because of lockdown and our original cake vendor falling through, Julia was super accommodating and willing to create our dream cake! She took all of our inspiration photos and created a beautiful but also delicious cake tailored to flavour preferences! Highly recommend her for any wedding and event cakes you need.

Two thumbs up, five gold stars and 100 bonus points! Julia was fantastic and accommodating throughout the whole time I interacted with her, not to mention she produced a spectacular cake! Our wedding cake was simply superb! It was delicious x3 (white chocolate mud, chocolate fudge, and salted caramel) and even more beautiful than the photo I gave her in the beginning to show what I wanted. Very highly recommend and would totally utilise her services for my next wedding :p

Julia is a super talented cake maker! She did a three-tier semi-naked cake for our wedding and not only did it look amazing, it tasted even better!! The fact that most of the cake was eaten on the night (and the leftovers eaten by us within a week) was a testament to how good the cake tasted!Julia’s great communication and easy processes made it so easy for us and took away one little stress of planning a wedding, because we knew Julia had it under control. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for our delicious wedding cake.I can’t believe that it was so beautiful, exactly how we envisioned it & it was beautiful.The flavours were so yummy, I’m lucky I got a piece of the Funfetti cake as it was all gone by the time I went back for more & the chocolate mud with choc ganache is beautiful too. I found Cooked By Julia after I put a post in a wedding group asking for cake recommendations.We were in the peak of covid so we were unable to travel down and do a taste test so instead, Julia organised for our samples to be sent via the post. It might seem like a simple thing, but being able to test out cake flavours with my fiancé was a much-needed break from the possibility that our day wouldn't be going ahead.Julia was so patient and accomodating in the lead up to our day and the cake not only looked incredible but tasted amazing too. Julia was an amazing find when I decided closer to my wedding that I in fact DID want a cake. She was so easy to work with, so many options for flavours and icing, and really helped with how big the cake needed to be for our guest list.It came out looking BEAUTIFUL, but more importantly, tasted amazing. I never expect to get so many compliments on the cake - I even had people texting me the next day!

One word... DELISH!Julia just knows exactly what she is doing when she is making a wedding cake. Our guests are still raving about this amazing cake. My husband and I went down for a tasting 4 months before our wedding and we almost couldn't decide what flavour because they were all delicious. We ended up choosing a two-tier salted caramel with a naked icing and it was just amazing. We had 100 guests and we almost didn't have enough as guests wanted to go for seconds. Lastly, Julia was just so easy to work with. She delivered the cake and set it up in our reception area without even asking us any questions (for any brides to be this is just amazing on your wedding day)!Thank you again Julia. We cant wait to come back down to Robertson and visit you ( and buy more treats)!
