Great beach to walk your dog

It was low tide so you could walk across the mouth of the river..Not much wind,all up a good day for the beach.

Quiet beach . Lots of shells, no waves and shallow in the center section.

Was just looking for a dog friendly beach near Townsville and look what I found...Of course there are no amenities...

Unspoilt for the most part. Not too much in the way of facilities, but that's unspoilt beaches...

A place to go for walks and a dip. A long stretch of natural beach. Looking out to sea. You have Gloucester and several islands between. Look to the north you got the suburb of Rosebay consists of a resort ,a caravan park and beautiful style houses built into the mountain .Behind the burb you got this big boulder hanging precariously. On the other end of the beach you got flagstaff hill which has a restaurant, the view from there is to die for ,got telescope for enhanced viewing. In the background you got the light house..The water is pristine. On a sunny day the color is turquoise blue. For the adventurer ,you can paddle surf, hire a chopper, plane or boat to really appreciate the beauty of Bowen Town. Thank you for viewing. Leave a comment and share

Beautiful, picturesque, quiet. Could you ask for more? Well, it's great for fishing & exploring through the rock pools and with the beach being located at the foot of Flagstaff Hill, it's a short drive or a nice walk to the top for breathtaking, stunning 360⁰ views of the ocean and the town.
