The Provincial Hotel
The check in with Hester was so easy. Our room was beautifully appointed and decorated and the bed was vey comfortable.We had dinner in Lola restaurant which was a great experience with delicious food.I would recommend the hotel and Lola as a clever, clean and welcoming destination. Great value for money and we will be back to stay.

The Provincial Hotel
Had a superb Valentines dinner at the Provincial last night. The staff were so nice and accommodating. We stayed the night in one of their Lola rooms. It was so big and beautifully decorated. The mini bar was generously stocked and the bed was AMAZING. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. If you are looking for boutique accommodation in Ballarat, this place should be on your short list. Not one thing to complain about. LOVED IT.

Really nice looking hotel,, comfy beds, cosy and great style. Great location as walking distance to restaurants. Waited about 10 minutes at reception was calling the number and no answer people walked past and saw me that where working at the restaurant but was ignored until I went it and spoke to someone. But the trains at night and police sirens where something else, constant and non stop and really annoying, there are ear plugs supplied but the ones we had where already opened and I was not risking using them in case they had been tried. The spa bath looks a lot bigger in the pictures. I went here based on reviews but would not return again.

Have stayed here 4 times now and the rooms and service are amazing. Had Christmas lunch this year and couldn’t eat another mouthful even as much as I wanted to.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in contact with. I accidentally left out my baby when I booked a room for 2 and emailed the hotel letting them know we had a baby too. The hotel answered saying the baby couldn't stay with us and that I needed to upgrade to a room twice as expensive. I declined and said I rather have a refund, but they refuse to refund me the money. So I ended up paying for a room I couldn't stay in. Horrible customer service and I strongly advise anyone to pick another hotel in town.

The room was lovely but room service food was as so below par l couldn’t eat it! Very disappointed along with $20.00 parking fee which doesn’t justify 4 star rating. Overall disappointing experience for me given the star rating touted.

Totally. Lovely decor, extremely good customer service and location fantastic. Easy walk into Ballarat. As we had a hire car, off street parking Excellent, even though it is an extra good value for money. It is an upmarket hotel but extremely good value and fantastic service.

One of the prettiest hotels we have stayed in. All the blue and white is divine. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Beautiful touches like the way our room smelled when we arrived and the music is fabulous. Felt like we were back in Paris!

We had a really great stay. The front rooms are beautiful and spacious. Only down side is loud trains on that side of the hotel however during our stay the trains were not operating so we were very fortunate to have the peace . Overall great venue and well worth the stay

We had been meaning to come here for a while, after seeing some good reviews and the fact that the venue caters for coeliacs, or at least has a menu with plenty of GF options. We finally came today for coffee and to check it out. The coffee was as good as any we have had and that’s saying something! We had other plans, so didn’t stay for the big lunch thing, though the toastie was great to tide me over. We’ll be back with the folks, who are discerning coffee lovers, but also for lunch. The staff were superb and the ambience refreshingly different and upmarket. So glad we finally made it here!
