Mount Pleasant Medical & Dental Centre

I was a visitor to Mackay and was suffering extreme pain post tooth extraction . The receptionist was great and understanding of my need to see a dentist urgently. I was in within the hour Dr Kumaran Chandran was very good at explaining what he was going to do. Very gentle and caring. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing dental care.

The reception team were incredibly nice and squeezed me in last minute and were so friendly on arrival. The doctor was so kind and thorough as well - I don’t usually go to this clinic but it was such a great experience that I’m sure I’ll be back!

Did I enjoy my experience at the dentist? Absolutely not. Would I go anywhere else to get my work done? Absolutely not. You guys are amazing, thank you.

My family recently visited Mount Pleasant Medical Center for a routine checkup and were very impressed with the level of care and professionalism displayed by the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and attentive receptionists who helped us with the check-in process. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and had a calm ambiance which made me feel at ease.Dr Surekha was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to our concerns and answer all questions. They conducted a thorough examination and explained the results in a clear and concise manner. I was also impressed with the range of services provided by the centre, from preventative health checks to specialised treatments.Overall, it was a great experience at Mount Pleasant Medical Center. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality medical care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The staff was attentive, the facilities were clean and modern, and the level of care was excellent.

The receptionist and the dentist are fantastic, my son was very nervous about having his tooth pulled and they made him calm and he said it didn't really hurt either! I will definitely be taking my children there in the future! Thankyou! Absolutely amazing

This was initially supposed to be a one off visit to a Mackay dentist for a checkup while I was visiting. But I am now considering return trips to Mackay for my dental needs.I appreciate the great Duty of Care shown by Dr KC. Despite me informing him, that this was a one off visit and I was heading back home to far North West Queensland the next week, Dr KC still took the extra time to review my x-rays with me, answer all my questions and helped me set out a plan to address my dental needs.And, to make my visit even better, the rest of the dental team were very welcoming, professional and jovial.Thank you Gladys, Helen, Monique and Dr KC.

In my opinion I was very disappointed with these doctors as I had my 20 month old in for an appointment he had high temperatures and was coughing a lot was extremely miserable, we we’re running only slightly late, I made a call to let them know and they said they can wait 5 mins till I arrive I made it in the time frame and was no later and they turned around and canceled my appointment, I had a 20 month old who desperately needed to see the doctor and I find this very unprofessional after my son was very sick and they turned us away. I rang around to other surgeries desperately seeking some help the only surgery in Mackay who ended up fitting us in was One stop Medical they were amazing and tried to help out where they could and fit us in to see a doctor after 4pm, they were fully booked but went above and beyond for our situation. Would only recommend one stop medical I wouldn’t waste your time with these doctors they can’t be bothered helping.

Dr KC was lovely. He made sure I was comfortable and took time to explain in detail, not just the procedure, but also the aftercare. His manner is gentle and caring, highly recommend if you are nervous about going to the dentist.

The team at Mount Pleasant Medical & Dental are very friendly and do a great job. Just had my 4 Wisdom teeth removed with no dramas, it was a quick procedure and very little pain. I would recommend if you are looking for a dentist.
