Champions Academy

My 12yo boy havs been at Champions Academy for over 5 years. In that time, he has learnt STEM in the form of Lego robotics, 3 D printing, Python and Arduino. He loves coding. So much so, we no longer consider it an extra curricular activity, but a hobby driven by him. This is thanks largely to Nicholas, Piermon and the team at Champions,My 8 yo has now started Lego Robotics and is loving building “robots” too.

Champion Academy is more than the average coding classes around. Teachers are very knowledgeable and highly qualified. My son enjoyed his learning very much here.

My children attended the holiday program of Champions Academy. The teachers and staff were absolutely fantastic and very supportive. They learnt a great deal under the guidance of the staff and would definitely recommend the program.

My children have attended computer science classes here for about a year. You won't find a better team of tutors for your children. They understand the school curriculum well, and are constantly updating & refining their courses so they are always on the cutting edge. The enthusiasm of Nic and the team is very much appreciated. We love the bonus puzzles and the weekly blackboard problem.

My Son thoroughly enjoyed his experience working with your team. He was very nervous about meeting a new group of people, but the staff are so kind and accommodating that the children know no other way other than to be accepting. The robotics class was so informative and had him on the edge of his seat for the duration of class, something very rarely seen from him. Thankyou to Nicholas and his incredible team of bright and enthusiastic staff for opening up a new world of opportunity for Bailey.

I had read that Champions Academy Camberwell's philosophy centres around developing professional students. It is unfortunate that Champions Academy, more specifically Nicholas, do not have the same level of professionalism they wish to endorse. I enthusiastically scheduled and rescheduled an initial consultation with Nicholas regarding my Year 7 son but was highly disappointed when we were treated with such unprofessionalism on both occasions. At the first scheduled meeting, we were made to wait 35 mins before we were told by Nicholas that he could not meet with us and that we needed to reschedule the meeting and then walked off! On the second scheduled appointment, we again had to wait for 20 mins. After approaching him about whether he was going to meet with us, he was extremely disinterested and couldn't care less about wanting to help my son on his learning journey to success.

Champions Academy in Camberwell is an empowering and very professional tutoring centre, resourced by highly qualified and positive team, led by Professor Nicholas. My two teens, in year 11 and year 7 are enjoying a very educational and fun learning approach on their computer science and maths subjects since Term 3.Professor Nicholas also provides extra high quality support and time for my teens' other interests and subjects such as English and robotic programming sessions as additional challenge.I would highly recommend Champion Academy's tutoring programs to students in primary and high school levels.

We were looking for a program for our 7 year old son who has a deep interest and ability in coding and robotics. Champions Academy was able to tailor a learning plan for someone that doesn’t fit the usual mould. The teachers are very generous with their knowledge and time, and make sure each child’s learning and experience is optimised. We are very impressed and delighted to have found Champions Academy.

My children, aged 9 and 11, have been attending classes here for the last two terms and absolutely love it! The enthusiasm shown by Nicholas and his teachers is absolutely fantastic - my children have learnt so much and grown in confidence and my son especially enjoys his work with Sam. Ziwei has been studying Coding & Robotics and Engineering at Champions Academy for 3 years. Their curricula are very interesting, which are highly integrated with Science, technology, engineering and math. The experienced teachers here can inspire students to think and comprehend the subjects in the classes, especially in the project based learning group in which students developed their teamwork skills. Ziwei has become really interested in studies at Champions Academy. He will continue learning, exploring and growing with his friends and teachers here.
