Wonderful experience. The all female crew were really friendly and knowledgeable. As a non for profit research organisation, we had a whale research doctor on board plus a marine biologist who answered all questions in great detail. This is a fast boat that is just the right size, so that you are really close to the action. Once we came across a pod of whales they were incredibly curious swimming under and around the boat putting on a great display. We had 6 whales all around us at one point. Watching from the rail of the boat as this enormous shape comes out from underneath you and gracefully comes up to the surface only 3 to 4 meters away was really special. Awesome trip for my wife and I. We will be back. Well done guys

Great experience with these guys. Took us about 40 minutes to see our first pod and for the next hour or so, we kept on seeing them breach, etc. None of the whales came to boat though.

The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Although today we had to venture out a long way into Platypus Bay it wasn't too much trouble. We saw 3 small pods of whales and they were putting on a great show for us. Would also recommend as it is not for profit so everything goes back into the company. Fabulous work and thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Cannot recommend enough! We got several magical encounters with the whales (Saw a mother and a calf nursing, several pods and 2 whales came play right next to the boat!).We chose this trip because profits go towards whale research and conservation, which is a beautiful thing. I wish every operator was as responsible as this one.Staff were amazing and knowledgeable, thank you Shelby for your commentary throughout the trip.You also get some cookies and soft drinks on board (plastic free) which was a nice surprise.I would never use any other company and will definitely be back again during whale season.

Best whale watching tour! Learned a lot about Hervey Bay and the whales. And after spotted some, Jason drove us near but not too near to them. One of the whale even swam underneath the boat. Definitely recommended. Did the tour twice.

My partner and I chose to see the whales with Pacific Whale Foundation and we were blown away by the knowledge of our ever-chipper guide (Darcy) and the great knowledge our captain (Andrew) had as well. Being able to see the whales up close in their environment and the lovely commentary along the way was just superb.We went in the afternoon tour time (2-5pm) and the sunset over the water was simply magical.I'd highly, highly recommended choosing to go with Pacific Whale Foundation for anyone including families wanting to experience the whales up close as the value for money and experience had was worth it!

Best whale watch tour I've ever been on! In every way, fantastic adventure, really fun on a boat that holds around 30 people, really fun ride out to the bay. The staff were amazing, 3 really cool women, so happy to share their knowledge and enthusiasm. I felt they were as thrilled and excited as the rest of us to site the whales. And as for the whales.... wow... what a show, coming right up to and under the boat. We were so close to the water it was the best tour ever!!! Highly recommend

We had the best experience here! The crew really knows everything about the whales and the area where they live. Very enthusiastic and they know how to take that enthusiasm to the costumers. We saw a lot of whales and they were even singing and swimming under our boat. Definitely recommend this!

The boat is Goldilocks size and safe. The staff are very helpful, informative and friendly. We had a great time whale watching and enjoyed every second. Would highly recommend visiting. We'll definitely return.
