Love Urban Clay! Such a treasure to find this fantastic pottery studio near me. I was lucky enough to get into a class with Rebecca who owns the studio and she is full of knowledge and tips - she’s a brilliant teacher as it was my first time in a wheel class and she was very thorough with her instructions and also incredibly patient. I also enjoyed the hand building class I took as well. Highly recommend.

I have enjoyed two terms of learning pottery on the wheel as a complete novice! Shira is the most patient teacher who is a skilled tutor with thankfully a fun sense of humour! The setting is very companionable with students all facing each in small group lessons. Skill levels vary amongst the students so it’s encouraging to see what can be achieved. I have been so pleased with my work and look forward to signing up for another term.

We had our 1st team event of the year at Urban clay, it was hands down one of the teams favourite events we have done! Beck was absolutely a pleasure to organise this with.I highly recommend any other businesses in the area to host a team night here it was so fun, we can't wait to pick up our masterpieces in the coming weeks! I’ve been making pottery at urban clay for the past 2 years and have loved every minute of it. The teachers are all so helpful and kind, and Beck has a wealth of knowledge about pottery that pushes you to improve. The whole term is run so smoothly and gives you all of the basics to pottery throwing. I recommend to all of my friends.

I've wanted to do pottery for such a long time and last year I finally booked it in and it was fantastic. I did a 6 week course and loved every second. The teachers are wonderful and because the classes are small you can always get help and ask lots of questions. I have completed both a 6 week and 8 week course, both provide ample time to practice a range of techniques and get advice and guidanve. I find my time at the wheel so relaxing, it's such a great way to focus my mind and I get beautiful items to bring home or gift. Will definitely go back again and again as there are always new things to learn, and the time to improve my skills!

Difficult to express what a joy it is to attend Rebecca's classes. Rebecca is a wonderful teacher, and the group of people in the class are such a fun bunch. Something I look forward to every week!
