Alchemy Bar & Restaurant
My husband and I had our first meal in Launceston here and we both thought it was pretty good! Unfortunately we didn’t book so we had to eat at the bar or outside. I had the crispy pork belly with greens and soy broth and shared the garlic pizza. Both were delicious! The staff were friendly and suggested some tasty gins. Thank you guys!

Great food and decent service. This place was very busy when my wife and I visited, we did not have a booking but they were able to accommodate us and we weren't disappointed by the experience. Our meals were delicious and a decent size and our cocktails were yummy. Being a bar and restaurant, it was a bit on the noisy side, but what do you expect, especially when it was busy. Very enjoyable.

Had a delicious meal here and can only say positive things. Fantastic range of wines (not just local), lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Great location, worth a visit

Went here on Good Friday and had an average experience. Only positive is the friendly staff. The donburi was very average and chips were stale. Hard to go wrong with a parmi but this one wasn’t up to the mark. Avoid.

Had a booking for a light late lunch with my daughter. Virtually inedible.Taco fillings were luke warm/cold. Chips were bland and boring, no seasoning, no condiments. Hard to even swallow. And what's with the garlic pizza??? A cheese and sauce pizza with a few whole cloves of garlic scattered on it?! I don't know anyone that would just bite into a whole clove. Picked them off just so we could eat something and was just left with a cheese pizza.Very disappointing after previous experiences.

Really nice place, quite a big area lots of different seating with lounges too. Food is good but just average. Customer service is great :)

One of our favorite spots. Staff are always friendly and try to make conversation. Drink's are always great and the beers are always changing(the favourites stay, but a couple taps, at least, change frequently). Food is always nice too. Probably part of the better onion rings you can find.If you have to go anywhere, this is an easy choice for anyone.

Popped in here last night by chance and so glad we did. The food was fantastic but the service was exceptional, the young girl who was working should be rewarded for the service she provided. She was attentive, prompt and polite.The steak sandwich and the salmon were top shelf.Thank you for a great dinner.

Place looks and smells good. For a pub menu it has some interesting twists, staff lack engagement and follow through. No cutlery served, an none in the self serve…….. pork belly was a disappointment for the price, not bad, but not what I would expect from a chef. Definitely lacks enthusiasm.
