The Rosedale Bakehouse

Steak and mushroom pie was passable, the sausage roll was pretty average and nowhere near as good as the Darl makes.

Spinach and ricotta roll was so pale it didn't look cooked or very appealing, but it was the only vego option. Luckily it tasted ok.Probably wouldn't go here again

Excellent coffee and so many yummy treats to choose from. Highly recommend their Carrot cake, iced buns and Sweet chilli chicken wrap. Will be back!

We found this bakery whilst travelling to Melbourne from Metung.The bakery had a large selection of baked items including bread, cakes and pies including vegetarian pastries.The decor inside is also interesting with its wooden sculptures and murals.

Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. We usually stop at the other bake house in the Main Street and thought we would try this one instead this time, what a mistake that was!!! The old lady behind the counter was obviously having a bad day, she was so rude to us. Won’t be going back. I suggest sticking to the other beautiful bake house across the road where the staff have respect for their customers.

Rosedale Bakery, Rosedale VIC. Steak and Mushroom Pie $5+ no prices on anything. BYOd sauce.Not going to give this one much air time, the pie was tiny, pastry was doughy and undercooked, filling was tender beef, and for the most part no mushroom flavour. Got a little in my last bite. It did have a few rubbery pieces throughout just minus the flavour. Maybe a little stirring was required. I can certainly understand the reviews relating to inconsistencies. Had the makings of a good pie just under delivered. We stop here regularly, on our way to Lakes Entrance from Melbourne, the sausage rolls rock, not to mention the fantastic extra full salad rolls.

Donuts must have been from before the weekend. So stale it was a joke, rock hard, 3rd or so time I’ve had rank baked goods here now. At least the pies are usually good.
