Our oven needs replacing after only 10 years - the cavity is corroded, the computer is broken and the element appears to have partly melted. We got a Miele technician out to look at it and the cost of replacing the broken parts is more than buying a new oven. After a lot of waiting on hold and being given the run around, secured a modest discount on a new oven (not enough in my view given the oven is meant to last 20+ years and delivery/installation and technician fees on the old one) . Now waiting on the phone again to order the new oven, hopefully arriving before Christmas or I guess that's our plans for lunch ruined! Miele was the premium brand 10 years ago, but now there's a lot more competition - I would get another brand as a replacement, but it has to match the Miele microwave fitted above it.

Popped in today and was helped by Gail who was amazing! She was so enthusiastic and responded well to our hundreds of questions. We’ve come across so many terrible salespeople during our kitchen journey so it was such a pleasant surprise to meet someone that wasn’t too pushy, had passion, and new so much about the products!What soured our experience (and a potential 40k sale) was a really rude and annoying “trainer” guy in a blue shirt. He was so rude, he told us off for accidentally walking into the kitchen area, and whilst still talking to him he turned his back on us. He was obnoxious when we informed him we were already being helped, and then he stood behind Gail whilst she was masterfully helping demo a dishwasher in a really creepy way, that came across as watching over her.He may well have put us off what would have been a certain sale, either way thank you Gail for helping us on our Miele journey with such grace.

I purchased the DGC787860XXL from Miele and the steam function did not work upon delivery. I was on the phone for 2-3 hours to get hold of someone and couldn’t get a technician for more than a week. That technician could not fix it and rescheduled for 2 more weeks.I am now trying to get a refund for the majorly faulty product and I’ve been passed around from department to department and am still waiting to hear a confirmation. This is extremely disappointing quality and service for a $10K product. I will never be purchasing anything from Miele again.Update: Hi Daniel, I sent an email with all my details and received an automated reply that someone will be in contact within 10-12 business days. This is exactly the appalling service I have experienced with Miele and I will be spreading the word to everyone so no one else has to go through this.

I am appalled. We had a Miele technician come out to repair our 7 year old dishwasher. All he did was check our PowerPoints after which he said, must be a control panel issue, quote is $850. We decided to get a new one instead and it has been installed today - not only does it not work (error code and no drainage) but the way it was installed must be incorrect because the cupboard under my sink has flooded damaging the items inside. We decided to stay with Miele because we thought it would be reliable as there is a good reputation but this is unacceptable.

I have now attended 3 Miele classes after purchasing 3 products. All of them have been great and the class taken by Esther yesterday was excellent. She was engaging and very willing to answer questions. These classes are a great idea and well worth attending. I had a speed oven for 16 years and never once used the combination microwave/oven so lovely to know what you can do in it!

90mins waiting on the phone, online service ended our chat when they are willing to help you. I just want to reschedule delivery. You become to beg Miele once you paid for your money. Poor service, if they bankrupt one day, it is very reasonable,don't buy Miele.not recommended,I will give 0 start if I could.

On hold for 14 mins, couldn't get a straight answer because I was talking to someone overseas, then they put me through an Oz customer service, waited another 4 mins then line dropped out. Rubbish service, long wait time for zero results.

Our cordless vacuum HX2 had two issues within the first month. Since the seller wouldn't accept return and refund, we had to make a claim with Miele. Apart from sending videos to show the problems, we had to take it to an authorised repairer to check the problems. We asked for a replacement and after two weeks Miele finally agreed to replace it. I think one week should be a more acceptable time.

My wife and I attended an after-purchase Speed Oven class at the Miele Experience Centre. All the staff at the Centre, particularly Gail, were friendly and helpful. Andres, who took the class, was an engaging and informative teacher. We learned a lot during the class, not only about how to use our oven but also some really useful general cooking tips. The food Andres prepared during the class was simple but was delicious and looked amazing. I’d never done one of these after-purchase classes before but would highly recommend it.

We recently visited the Frenchs Forest showroom to look for a replacement washer and dryer as our current Miele washing machine is in limp mode. We went ready to buy and made the 45+ minute drive in Saturday traffic to see the full range and talk to the experts. What a disappointment! The first person we spoke to had only been there a few weeks and pretty much just handed us a comparison table and seemed unable to answer any questions. After wasting 15mins we asked to speak with someone who could actually answer our questions. Was then assisted by someone who had been there only a few months and had only modestly more product info. Trying to get answers to our questions on comparing one products features to another was like pulling teeth! Even simple questions like does it have time delay start, does it signal when a load is finished were questions that had to be deferred to someone else. The person making the coffees seemed to have the most product knowledge yet she wasn’t available to help us. What a truly painful experience and absolute waste of time. The only benefit was that the full product range was there, but other than that was a self serve experience! Your staff really need more sales and product info training.We were provided with a quote, but there was no genuine attempt to secure the sale on the day even though we said upfront we were ready to buy. Bizarre. We’ve now had to come home to trawl through the website and product manuals to try and answer our questions where it is apparent some of the info we were given was not actually accurate - ie the description of the steam function on the dryer which was a direct question I asked in trying to compare two models of dryers.
