Fryers Creek
The best thing here is nature. Trees, a river, a beautiful stone watercourse, historic houses, an old church building, the Duke of Cornwall Mine and a very small community. I didn't see a general store or cafe, (those things are 10km away in Castlemaine). People would go here to see Goldfields' nature at its finest and to breathe the air of our indigenous and gold seeking ancestors.

Great camping and great surrounds, plenty of walking to be done around the area and awesome to find and check out the old mines.
