Very good course - detailed course manual for pre-reading - lots of SIMs - lots of highly qualified and experienced instructors - provides a good overall understanding and approach and after being involved in 20 or so SIMs helps a lot with the (rapid) decision making process required

Learnt so much during the 3 days. the Instructors were approachable and always there to clarify thoughts when asked questions . so glad i attended it .

I attended this course as a nurse observer. Fabulous 3 days, I always felt very involved, part of the team and participated in all areas of the course. A great learning and networking experience, I highly recommend.

This was by far the most intense and yet the most enlightening and useful course I have taken to date. I am PGY 6 and an emergency medicine do and would highly recommend it to anyone in critical care. I have been petrified of sims for years (at least 20 as I was a wilderness and city paramedic prior) but this course gave me the confidence that it may not be that bad. After twenty or so (I honestly lost track of how many I did- individually or as a Tran) I felt more at least. And able to escalate my resuscitation skills to a entirely new level. The course instructors were lovely and knowledgeable as we learned in a systematic approach, building on every day so that by the end of three days we were able to manage multi organ ‘dying’ mannequins with complex scenarios. And each grew more and more complex. But we all survived and passed somehow. Highly recommended course for all levels in crit care.Thanks for being amazing guys!

Just completed ETM in Darwin. Terrific trauma course. Practical and real-world issues discussed. As an anaesthetist I was concerned that the course would be too ED focused. However it proved to be invaluable for any clinician involved in the immediate management of major trauma. Team building skills and silo busting was great. Highly recommended for all trauma team members.
