Australia Post - Darra LPO

Customer service absolutely lacking and appalling. I had to seal up a box with a paper printed label to return an online purchase and asked if I could have a bit of tape, lady said she wouldn't give me any and pointed me to the shelves to buy a roll.Come on guys that's just a whole level of greed and stinginess, you couldn't spare 2c worth of tape to help your customers post an item?Out of principal I refused to have it posted from there, and would rather drive all the way home to tape it back up and post it from another post shop.Won't be returning here.

I asked the staff why it wasn't delivered to my address but I only got a notification on the Aus post app that it had arrived at this post office and I was made to drive 35 minutes to pick up my parcel they pointed at sign and tapped on it walked away abruptly got my parcel and slamed it on the counter and walked to the other side of counter to serve someone else. Nothing was left at my address to say they had come by nor did they ring the door bell as I had been home the last few days waiting for my parcel.

Absolutely rude! Drove 45min out of my way because postman was lazy to take my parcel to my LOCAL post office. Went to collect my parcel and was barely greeted, when I said bye she didn’t even look at me and looked at the customer behind me…. Get better customer service! And a SMiLE!!

Came for passport photo, clearly agitated staff member said they don't do that here. When I pointed out that on the website it clearly says its one of the provided services, and then pointed them to the white screen they have got hanging there to take photos, the simple response was 'oh but our camera is broken'. Clearly did not want to help out, just rude and disrespectful.

Today is the 3rd day since requested for my parcel to be send to a closer post office. No action to date despite 2 phone calls and case number.

Dreadful service. We have a security camera at the door. They didn’t even attempt to deliver our parcel. If they had come to the front door we would have seen them on the camera. Instead they simply left a card in the letter box. We live 6 minutes from Ormeau Post Office. They could have left it there for us to collect but no! Instead we had to travel 2 hours there and back to collect it from Darra. Absolutely dreadful service. Looking at the number of extremely poor reviews this post office has received, they should lose their Australia Post license or their logistics and customer service managers should be SACKED! Pick your act up Darra PO AND Fasttrack. Fasttrack needs to be renamed. Snail-track would be far more appropriated. Yes I AM annoyed and frustrated. How can any business survive with this abominable level of service. This is the second time I’ve experienced this!

So bad!!! “attempted delivery” no tracking number, no card in my letterbox or on the door. I was only made aware of this once I contacted the company I made my purchase from for an ETA and they gave me the tracking number. Drove over an hour each way to collect my package that I paid delivery for. I finally can give my son his Xmas present 16 days later. How this operation hasn’t come under investigation based on all these complaints from customers having the same experience baffles me!

The ladies didn’t even look up from the counter - was rude to me as I was there the wrong day. Taking between themselves while serving. Worse experience in a post office I’ve ever had

Not really the fault of this location but why is startrack always taking stuff back to darra after failed deliveries. 50% of my Startrack deliveries go thru the local Auspost depot and are perfect. The other 50% get delivered by Darra (over an hour away) and used to get taken to my local post office but haven't for about a year. Todays example someone was most likely even home. Last time I called and they redelivered it and luckily without a signature, I can't be bothered this time. The seller will have to sort it out.
