Really lovely bay, quiet and protected so great for kids. There's a playground area, great rocks for climbing, a surf club, lots of lush green grass to while away the day and bbqs too! Shops are across the road for drinks and ice cream.

Just beautiful. Stunning beach with excellent facilities including toilets and picnic opportunities.Alma Bay rates amongst Australia's most beautiful beaches. With large rocky headlands on both sides and a gorgeous white sandy beach, this place is lovely and well worth the visit. There is a large lawn picnic area immediately above the beach which has stunning shade trees and well kept and modern facilities such as toilets, play equipment and showers.Immediately across the road from the Arcadia Hotel, speciality shops (including ice cream) and bus stops, Alma Bay is accessible, convenient and a completely delightful day at the beach.Whether you want a swim or somewhere beautiful to sit and read, Alma Bay is a strong recommendation.

One of the best bays on the island for a sheltered, quiet, relaxed swim.Check out the local bird life, there's a variety of local birds that frequent the area (including curlews unfortunately). There's even a giant eastern osprey nest up in a tree on the right hand end of the beach when looking out at the water.Check out the aquatic life with a snorkel or the dive shop up the road. The diving isn't amazing but its super easy and a great place to get certified

Very nice beach cove, rocks on either side make this beach feel private and beautiful. Water was nice, sand was nice, walk out to shoulder level on soft sand, water clear enough to see your feet.

THE BEST BEACH EVER! A small but incredibly gorgeous beach with amazing vegetation and granite rocks surrounding it. Visited in August & the water was crystal clear and warm. There are heaps of picnic tables and toilets here. A small shop across the road.Easy to get to on the sunbus, ask driver to drop off at Arcadia. Its an easy 5 minute walk to George bay along the road to the snorkeling track.

Absolutely beautiful beach despite its small size. In fact the small size may have contributed to its beauty. Surrounded by stunning rocks and trees. Really enjoyed swimming in the warm water. Would highly recommend visiting.
