Room was clean and comfortable but, pool was closed, restaurant was closed, reception was closed. If your going to try and run your establishment 'of site make sure online bookings are clear and concise. I was positive I'd booked a twin room only to be charged a further $16 because I used two beds. Not happy."

Set off main street. Excellent location. Old style motel needs some renovation but is OK. Smallish room, comfy bed, quiet, glass door at back looks out onto Burra Creek. All cutlery,  crockery, glasses, toaster,  microwave included. Air conditioned. Carpet old,  some stains … need replaced. Excellent Restaurant, so glad we booked. We stayed 3 nights to explore the area and would stay here again. Town of Burra interesting, historic,  key available from visitors centre @$25 per person to see inside old mine buildings,  Gaol, museums etc.  Wonderful driving day  trails Worlds End (incl. Farrell Flat) and excellent Dares Hill

Beds definitely need to be renewed, but was OK for the last minute booking after a long drive from Alice Springs

A quiet and cosy motel in a beautiful country setting, in a very convenient spot within walking distance or a very short drive to local shops.The rooms are comfortable and large and have a beautiful view of the nearby creek where you can hear the birds and wildlife. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with everything you need, as well as a small fridge, microwave, TV and Foxtel.The Jumbucks restaurant is located on site as well and is warm and inviting, and is full of nostalgia from the railways and famous TV shows and movies. The food is delicious and filling, and the staff are highly professional. I highly recommend the Crumbed Camembert as an entree and the Lamb Backstrap for the main.This is one of my favourite places to stay and keep up the good work.

Clean comfy accommodation. Good sized room. Love the authentic '80s decor; it has character. The front office was closed due to COVID-safe protocols, but the ducks welcomed me, so that was nice. Great communication from the proprietors in the lead-up to my visit. Overall a pleasant place to stay.

Only stayed overnight. It was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Had a good night sleep very peaceful.

Lovely quiet location that's a short stroll from all the amenities in town.Clean, cosy and well maintained rooms. Good wifi, which is essential for me, as I'm travelling for business.The proprietors have fantastic customer service, and contactless check-in is a breeze. The proprietors let you know all the interesting things to do and where to eat in the local area before your visit, which is very helpful.Good parking right at the door is very convenient.Thank you. Will return again.

Rooms seemed clean. The food was OK. The chef is very rude. whent in to restaurant at 7pm they open at 6pm and came out to the table, asking us to go elsewhere next time if we were going to be that late because he wanted to go home!

Stayed for one night on a motorbike trip with friends. Very clean rooms, easy check in, secure parking and very quiet. Walking distance to local pub. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely overnighter but puddles between car & room. Ducks loved it! Creek out the back window.Self check in was very smooth - efficient communication from hosts. Plenty of info in the room.
