Was a really bad school, we weren't aloud to go to the toilets and the best teacher was ms lushy and only about 3 other teachers were good, some other teachers put down the kids dreams and trash talked them, they dont have a good environment anymore, Dr Dray ruinned it. The only good part were the memories with my homies.

It is unfortunate that Google doesn't go below this rating, as this school doesn't deserve anything on the +ve scale. I'm more appalled at system that allows an absolutely dysfunctional head to continue to run a school which forms the most critical part in a child's future, specially in their key formative years!I'm so happy that my child has now been moved out of this school and can see the stark difference in the overall standards of education being imparted at other public schools. I'm disappointed beyond words that basic levels of stimulations haven't been offered by this school. Be it academic input, social, sport, music, leadership....this school is a shocker! The fun fact here is that teachers who have made efforts to go above and beyond have been reprimanded rather than appreciated for their efforts....top it up the funding this school has required is no reflection of its methods of primary existence i.e. 'help create good citizens and competitive students' going into their future. If anyone is surprised at this review and point me towards NAPLAN or other standard scores, please note that that is despite the school and efforts put in by parents outside of school through private intervention programs. How this principal who was actually fired from her previous role has been given an extension, just bewilders me, shocks me and disappoints me! May be it is reflective of the system's loophole which the Principal is making very good use of.I urge others who are considering this school to look elsewhere unless you've very strong reasons to send your child to this school.

Laburnum P.S has things to hide, was good when I went here, however decades of poor management and excluding the community have turned this school into a dump. The School offers no support for high achieving students and seem to think that vegetating in-front of a screen all day is the way to go for a well rounded education. High staff turnovers and a shrinking catchment of new students each year don’t send your kids here Kim Dray is bad news.

This school is...bad. They got millions of dollars from the government but haven't done anything to improve the school. I had many great memories in this school and many bad. The principal, Dr.Dray, seems nice and sweet on meetings, but in reality is a karen. The best teacher is Ms. Feilding. She was a legend to me and was the most caring teacher i have ever met, unlike Dr. Dray. I was lucky to have her in year 4.

I went to this school last year for my whole time but the principal Dr. Dray would hit me on the knuckles with a wooden ruler (I still have the marks after graduation) whenever I would ask someone for help in class. All of the teachers would yell at everyone for no reason just because we weren't as good as the previous Grade 6's. Multiple times when people were bullied the many of teachers would tell them to get lost stop lying

Dr. Kim Dray, the principal of Laburnum School, is a heartless and impatient old woman who seems to have been hurt in the past and is capable of lying. It's ridiculous that the school allows children to be honest while having such a person as the principal. She is not popular among the children, and the school has become very bad under her management. In the classroom, a child politely said goodbye to the principal, and the whole class heard it, but the principal pretended not to hear and left without any response. She never has patience when talking to students and is extremely strict, harsh, domineering, and authoritarian.
