We just visited during the day, however I would happily return to camp tonight. Some really good clean facilities here and a surprisingly picturesque lake.

A fabulous cheap camp option. We followed previous review recommendations and drove around past the boat ramp to a quieter section near a second toilet. We got a fantastic site with magnificent view of the turquoise water and with steps down to a quiet swim spot. The lake was busy on Sunday when we arrived but quieter during the week with only swimmers and kayaks on the water. A highlight of our 12 months of travel. Collie nearby is a lovely town to visit along with picturesque tourist drives nearby including a coalmine lookout.

Beautiful blue lake, perfect for kayaking, SUP boarding, jet skis etc. Nice place to camp. Wouldn’t recommend a public holiday, gets really packed. Dogs are allowed on leash. Flushing toilets. Day use area or $11 a night to camp.

Lake Stockton is available for camping with park rangers visiting each morning to collect a nominal fee. The lake was an old coal mine now filled with water and the Colour is amazing. We found it to be quite noisy at times due to inconsiderate people cutting up the joint with 4WD vehicles and would certainly recommend a trip mid week to avoid the crazy.Long drop toilet’s available.

Extremely busy here. Have to get there at least a week before holiday season for a good spot or you'll be pushed into the wooded area which is about a 5-10 minute walk to the drop toilet along a dirt road that cars are travelling very fast along throwing up red dirt at you, not ideal with children, no lighting very dangerous. You pay for the upkeep of the grounds and facilities but toilet paper is always out and water tanks to wash your hands empty. The lake is nowhere near as blue or lovely as the grab pictures. Very disappointing.

Stunning man made ex coalmine lake. Very deep, undrinkable water. Daytime visit for us but many camping in the unpowered sites. Colour of the lake is incredible...Italy like!Update - Easter long weekend 2022 - it is packed, and from what we can see, only one small toilet block with people queuing outside.Update - back again, Feb 2023. Love this lake. Was here 2 days in a rowOne day At 5pm (with lots of boat activity) the water wasn't as blue or as stunning as we remembered. Back again the next morning and it was back to the blue we remember...must've just been churned up from all the boats..?

Beautiful lake and camp grounds, definitely worth visiting this place for a day or many more. Toilets were clean and well maintained.Plenty of water in the lake in January, plenty of camping areas available

Quite a busy camp, most camps had plenty of space. Beautiful views of the lake.Only 2 cars doing burnouts in the area. Could see how the weekend would deteriorate & spoil the serenity.Would be nice place to have a break from driving.
